And what is worse, the emperor and Xu Jin's mother like this annoying princess. Are they blind? She's not just annoying, but stupid, arrogant, and evil at heart. She's gonna make everyone's life hard.

I'm still continue watching this drama because of JJY and ZZH. In my opinion the story pace is tooo slow... And I don't like Xu Ping character. It said that this drama is produced by the same production team from Legend of Yun Xi, so there are some similarities. No problem, but please, not the same ending, it sucks, it just ruin the whole series and I pretend I never see the finale episode and Yun Xi - Fei Ye live happily ever after until their time on this earth is finished. I hope they won't break our heart this time. Crossing fingers...

Eps 8 FL confessed about the fake pregnancy to the ML through letter and left. And eventually the ML chased her back, because he realized he was really falling for her and wanted to keep her by his side no matter what.

Loving this show so much that I watched it raw! hahaha For those who haven't watch, you're missing a great show here!

Thank you for sharing the side story from the novel! Oww how I wished the novel has English translation coz the drama is so good. Mixed feeling happy and sad this drama ended. I think I'm gonna re-watch hahaha

I only read some parts of the novel, mostly Ning Que and Sang Sang parts, because the drama portrays as if Ning Que chose Sang Sang, like you said above, out of loyalty, she was a family, or pity. The scene when Ninq Que cried after reading Shan Shan's goodbye letter gave audience more feeling as if Ning Que was forced by circumstances to chose Sang Sang over Shan Shan. In my opinion, this scene was unnecessary added/newly created in the drama, because it's not existed in novel. The drama did not display the part when Ning Que asked the palace commander to close the city gate to prevent Sang Sang get out of the city, which of course couldn't be done, he's only Mr. 13 of the academy, not the emperor. He even wanted to issue rest warrant to catch Sang Sang, reporting Sang Sang as criminal guilty for taking away half of his honey hahaha. I found this hilarious, your wife was running away with your money and you were eager to catch her back. Also the part after Sang Sang returned home, Ning Que brought Sang Sang to meet all their acquaintances, to the palace, to the princess manor, to red sleeve invites, to casino. Just dropped by and he didn't say anything, but his action telling everyone that he chose Sang Sang and they are in different relationship now. Sang Sang is Ning Que's soulmate. I'm waiting for the 2nd season, so glad that after finished the 1st season they made the 2nd one. Because there are many dramas that ought to have 2nd season ( example Princess Agents) but the production house don't make it huhuhu. So, even though a bit disappointed with some casts changing, but still feel lucky at least we will have 2nd season coming. We will have conclusion for story. I'm cheering too for Ever Night 2.... chayooo!

I love this story too. Everything is good except for the unclear ending. It's as if there's possibility for season 2 but in actual they don't make it. Someone somehow snatched Yun Xi from Qi Shao and save her. I think only Poison Sect person know about Yun Xi's bangle and take the bangle from Qi Shao. If you're interested, I suggest you to read the novel (English translation on going available), it will give more views of stories and of course of more love of Yun Xi and Long Fei Ye.

My mom watched it, she said at the end of eps 12 there's remarks the story is continue to season 2 dan 3. Maybe they'll make it small eps like this Season 1 only 12 eps. Hopefully it's correct, cause this drama is actually not bad. Maybe someone will pick it up and subbed it, so I can watch it too (only my mom understand Mandarin in my house).

Looks promising, I hope Vin will get his lady this time (crossing finger). He looks different in this drama. say... more handsome! For the lady, Ariel Lin is still as pretty as before, one of my fav star. Have to wait patiently for the sub >,<

The story reminds me of one of the cases Han Yunxi handled in Poison Genius Consort / Tincai Xiao Dufei novel, rare case fetus in fetu ^^

I'm starting to ready the novel. Love this series! Have you finished the novel? I wonder if they filmed all 1370 chapters into 48 eps or just partial.

The novel is still on going? I read somewhere the novel ending is both main leads live in seclusion away from worldly affair. Would be great if production team decided to make the sequel with same casts. This is a good series.
