It was very unrealistic how the main female lead had obvious full makeup on which did not make her status of being…
You misunderstood it. The main female lead Chang Yu is never being poor in the drama. She is a butcher but she is not poor. She is an orphan. Somewhere in the first 10 episodes she said to Xie Zheng that the butchers make very good money. And later with her shop in the restaurant her business grew even more. I'm not sure what you mean with the voice-overs?!?
The drama should show us the culture differences, but it was waist of time... The only message for me was that the people from Japan are very restrained and less emotional when we talk about love and emotions... I doubt that Taiga wasn't even in love with Rin... Of course she will leave with no intention to return, because he never showed her big emotions and affection... and there is so much more...
I knew from beginning this drama is waist of time...sorry, but one of the worst I ever watched. Bad acting, very basic story and plot... I still think the best acting was by Park Seo Ham and this is the only character in the drama I really liked.
I absolutely loved the show. I do not care for the original manhwa. It was good, easy going story line without to much drama. However, Im not fan of the main actors, but they still were very likeable.
Somehow I couldn't go into the show. The English subtitles were so fast, that I couldn't read the whole senses. I had to watch it doubt with subtitles, so I can understand what is going on... I watched it only for the Lee Jun Hyuk ..
Sorry but Netflix pisses me off. Only one episode per week? Really? So I have to watch again 1-3 to catch up what is going on... Is it another streamer when I can watch it ?
Wow...This drama is truly a masterpiece. It’s definitely for adult audiences. It’s about real life—nothing exaggerated, nothing missing. The stories feel honest and familiar, because at some point we all experience sadness, illness, loneliness, and moments when we lose our way and need an extra push. Every human being is their own universe with highs and lows, but in the end we all search for the same things: love and happiness. I don’t consider this drama slow at all-it’s calm, thoughtful, and beautifully paced. There isn’t a single boring scene; everything has a purpose and feels perfectly placed. The script is outstanding and the actors delivered incredible performances. I highly recommend it. 10/10 ⭐️
I need a spoiler I watched all 11 episodes and actually like it. It started so strong, but they lost me when the chairman showed up. And I dropped it on the end of the 11th where Ga Seon Yeong went to the house and saw the chairman. Please, how it ends?
I just finished it and I could easily have given this show 9 or even 10 stars, but a few things really bothered me.
First, before Yan and Hao Ming got married, his parents did a strict background check and were very concerned about where she came from. Later, when they got back together, that issue completely disappeared and was never mentioned again. It felt inconsistent, though not a major flaw.
The second and most important issue for me was how they handled the situation with the child, Hao Chen. They never gave him a real answer to his questions. Maybe this kind of topic is considered taboo in China and that’s why it was handled this way, but it made the show less likeable for me.
As always, Lu Si was top-notch - the acting overall was really strong and heartfelt.
