Tbh, I don't think Nanon will ever do another BL. As far as I remember, Bad Buddy was kind of a one-time thing for him, and I vaguely remember Ohm saying that one of the reasons he agreed to the project was because Nanon was part of it. So realistically, I think the chances of Nanon returning to the genre are pretty slim.
And even if he did decide to do another BL someday, I'm honestly not sure how the audience would react. The reception to Ohm's last BL wasn't exactly great, and parts of the fandom are still very attached to the Bad Buddy era. I don't know if people have fully moved on from that or not, but it would definitely be a risky move for everyone involved.
Ohm is genuinely a very talented actor. The first thing I watched him in was Dew, and if I remember correctly, he even picked up an award for that role. So for me, there's never really been any debate about whether he can act or not. Between Dew, He's Coming to Me, Bad Buddy, and a few other projects, he had a pretty impressive run and showed a lot of range in just a few years.
That said, after Bad Buddy blew up, I always felt like he seemed a bit... stuck? Maybe tired is a better word. It felt like he wasn't getting roles that really challenged him the way some of his earlier projects did. I don't know if that was GMMTV's decision, his own choice, or just how the industry works. Actors make a lot of their money from events, endorsements, and brand deals, so I can understand why that side of things becomes a priority after a huge hit.
But honestly, I think Ohm is one of those actors who should be doing more than just BLs. Not because BL is somehow lesser, but because I genuinely think he has the talent for bigger and more complex roles. I'd love to see him in a serious film or a mature drama where he can really show what he's capable of. The guy has the screen presence, the emotional range, and the charisma. I feel like we've only seen a fraction of what he can actually do as an actor.

Yeah, I agree. The last few episodes didn't hit the same way as the rest of the series. I feel like there was a lot more they could've done with the ending. But the bodyguards were great though, definitely one of the highlights for me.

People were genuinely obsessed with the show, and honestly, I think that level of obsession ended up causing a lot of drama involving both the company and the actors. Looking back, the fandom was absolutely massive.
I started rewatching BB because I was craving something safe and comforting, and somehow I'm enjoying it even more than I did the first time around.
