Honestly, this series might not have received this much hate if it was not airing with MC or MSP. Those shows set the bar high and the performance of NLMG remained weak throughout the 12 episodes as compared to them. Another reason would be everyone's high expectations of the show. It had a promising production team, a fantastic cast, and mafia team plot and even the trailer was looking good.

I think one of the reasons could be her personal life which is a lot messier than Jim, she had many on-off relationships before. So now that she finally has a stable well settled partner she wants to take Li Ming back.

If I'm not wrong Beam died in 2018 which is 4 or 5 years ago, and LiMing mentioned that he is living with Jim for 5/6 years. So there is a chance that Jam sent LiMing to Jim before Beam's death.

Net's acting here is better than James, rest of the casts acting is okay-ish. In NLMG expect PondPhuwin everyone did a pretty decent job specially Perth.

Pond and Phuwin are not the best when it comes to acting and NMLG is a blunder. Their fans love seeing them together so they are in denial that the series failed terribly.

I think both the shows have equally bad writing and execution but NLMG has 2 comparatively more famous ships PondPhuwin and PerthChimon. From NLMG comment section I can say that PondPhuwin have a strong fanbase.

In 'Cause you're my boy' Phuwin's performance was better compared to Neo.

After reading your comment I just realised I was my school's president too and never had any near incident like this drama. I lived a completely different life more like a painful, hectic school life. I wish someone used #MySchoolPresident for me too at that time lol.
