Couldn't agree more! I’ve been falling in love with his character from day one while watching the drama and he never disappointed. I love his character, he’s a ruthless prince but not cold, robotic-like or blank-staring like many actors might portray such a role. His acting through his eyes is absolutely flawless 👏
The prince is gentle with his sister and brother, respects his guards and soldiers, and shows no mercy only to his enemies or anyone who dares to harm his family, lover, or guards. He brings the character to life in so many dimensions, not just one, even using different tones of his voice depending on who he’s speaking to. I don’t care about other criticisms - his acting, his makeup, his “baby-face” blah blah blah!!!… he completely convinces me that he truly is a prince through his gestures, his powerful voice (he dubbed his own lines which is even more impressive) and the way he acts throughout the drama. He is living Prince Feng Suige!

I agree with you. They should’ve toned down CZY’s makeup a bit. He already has big, round pretty eyes…and the heavy eyeshadow just makes the area under his eyes look darker which takes away from his natural appeal. It also makes him appear more feminine while his face doesn’t quite give off a mature vibe but of course, it’s not his fault! At least in this drama, he didn’t act weak. He held his own alongside veteran actors, never outshined by anyone and even dubbed his own voice. He’s a devoted actor in my opinion.

Lol, some even said they stole the show and I totally get it, people tend to root for their love story more because of how excitement this couple are. Meanwhile, the main leads romance is already solid with trust, no love triangle and no toxic drama. I think all the characters are so well-written and I have to give credit to both the writers and the actors. I can’t help but keep praising them.
