Great plot, great characters, great esports storyline… and SO. MANY. MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
The second female lead was genuinely getting on my nerves EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The actress really did an amazing job though, because the fact that I hated her character this much means she did her job VERY well.
And the second male lead… what was the plan, sir?
He likes the female lead, wants to compete with the male lead, is clearly jealous of him, and then suddenly decides he wants to be friends with the male lead. Like??? Pick a struggle??? Was he having character-development mood swings or did I miss a chapter? I genuinely couldn't figure out what his end goal was.
NOW, THE FEMALE LEAD'S BROTHER.
CHEF'S KISS.
This man honestly kept me watching. Someone PLEASE get this guy more roles because I was invested every time he appeared.
And the OST???
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THIS OST.
I rarely keep listening to OSTs after finishing a drama, but this one actually stayed in my playlist. That's how you KNOW it was good.
I also really loved how the drama showed the team supporting each other. It wasn't just about one person winning—the whole team dynamic made the story so much better.
And that ending with Phoenix wearing all the logos???
ICONIC.
I genuinely enjoyed this drama. Definitely one of those shows where the good outweighed the frustration.
