I've been looking for a comment like this, just finished the series and the frustration I feel makes my blood boil, I literally cry thinking about his story. I feel like Ling Xiao has been wronged so much and it wasn't addressed as much as it should've been, she was a manipulator until the end. Ling Xiao was expected to forgive and forget, I think none of the other characters really even understood how much he was hurting.
