I was starting to get frustrated with Yanting but after this last episode I kind of get why he's confused. First he doesn't see everything we do and second Jiayi is so confusing with him. It's like she enjoys the attention so she strings him along.
Like who says if you ask me something it's always going to be no??? Who would keep chasing you if they don't get positive feedback? In short, that dinner was a trainwreck and they should stop interacting
I had set this show aside to watch it at some point for so long and now having finally watched it, I wished I had done so earlier. I absolutely loved it
Since some people seem confused that there are 5 episodes left but the decision is next week, here's how it works. Like previous seasons, you can split the show in 2 parts.
First part is what we're seeing right now and will end next episode. In this part, everyone lives in the same house and they get dates to find someone they want to date. At the end of this part, people will choose each other to become a couple and those that couldn't find a match are essentially out of the show.
For the second part, each couple will start cohabiting as a "trial" you could say. During this period they will be able to get to know each other better and even introduce family members like the kids if they want to. Although since some of them live farther it might be hard in this season. At the end, It's the final decision that decide if they truly want to be together.
I have to say Jerry has opened up a lot on the recent episodes and seeing him make more jokes is very nice. He seems a lot more comfortable and "lively" than in the beginning.
I mean the synopsis starts with "a love story-" 😅 But yes this is a historical romance drama so it is heavy…
Aaah yeah, if you prefer more realistic fights then it won't be for you. I sadly don't think there's many sageuks that focus on action. At least not in recent years and you seem to have already watched them.

You can try Six flying dragons if you've never watched it. One of the best sageuks I've watched. It starts a bit slow since the characters are kids for the first few episodes (don't remember how many) but once it gets going it's pretty awesome.
There's romance in it but it's really not the focus. I'd say politics and action are at the forefront. I particularly remember liking the action scenes.
I'd say don't let the rating affect you. I thought it was great and I wish there were more dating shows that show them actually dating. The only ones I know are this one and Love after divorce

How are the subs with iqiyi?

Hope it helps clear some confusion!
