I think her plan is to look for proof of JCY and the assemblyman's dirty business, and that's why, she's moved into his house. So far, she's hacked into his laptop and planted a cctv in his study. Once the incriminating evidence is in her hands, she can use that against him. Finding out that her FIL is still alive and that Giyun is not her FIL's biological son are the coincidental bits.

If I remember correctly, back in the days of the first JGY when WH first started working at EE, JGY belittled him and/or WH didn't kiss JGY's as*, so the 2 guys developed this open animosity for each other. Boy, that seems like a lifetime ago.
