Is it just me? Felt Force was closed off in his intimacy scenes..usually its Book who dies the fish kisses.. But Book was all into it in this when Force was not reciprocating!! I noticed their kiss were off even in only friends.. Cant help psychoanalyzing!

I understand your point—I hear where you’re coming from. Just to share my perspective: I wouldn’t say Qin’s parents are bad people. To me, they come across as very absorbed in each other and their work, and likely believed they were doing their best for their child.
That said, I do think they should have been more attentive—regularly checking in, even through cameras, to stay aware of his situation. Their negligence is hard to overlook, and I also feel they should have continued his therapy so he could properly process the trauma instead of suppressing it.
However, episode 11 shows that they’re capable of reflection and willing to acknowledge their mistakes. So personally, I see them as more ignorant than truly terrible.
