Like everyone here I was shocked by the last scene, I noticed the show was about controlling and abusing relationship before THAT happened, but didnt expect it to go this far into SA / Rword. And yeah Ive seen no trigger warnings that could have been needed here.
I didn't read the book so maybe I'm wrong but I still think the show doesnt seem yet to endorse this behaviour and makes it pretty clear Flint is being controlling from the start, and Sun, even if she notices it, tends to convince herself it's caring and loving when it is control cause she is caught in this with someone she loves. Fay even tries to warn her about that. That seems to be the whole point of the show.
Ultimately idk if this was made the "right" way, probably not, and maybe it will just end up in justifying those behaviours and ask us to ship this relationship as if everything is fine, but if done correctly, that could have been an important chance to talk about abusive relationships imo.
