I stopped deliberately at ep 30 so that I could binge the last 10 episodes today! Now I’m worried about crying too much!

Would love to see this but I don’t think the production can afford the casting.

I actually had the same question, what we consider loves is probably different than what He Simu considers a lover. This guess is based on how it works in most fantasy dramas, where intimacy is usually reserved for your life partner (not someone you "like").

This is what I read...they only promote dramas that need it. It costs like several million to promote dramas so they use those funds on dramas that could use the money more efficiently. LBTG has been listed at the top consistently so Tencent won't waste money.

She’s particularly harsh on every drama production but she really liked how LOTTL was produced. Oh in case you don’t know, she’s like a Theatre major or studied this field.

Hmmm I’m still enjoying it, it’s following the book. At this stage she doesn’t want a relationship with him. I’ve been on MDL a while and have watched many Chinese dramas and read many novels. This one is up my alley.

She said if they had the director from PoJ the drama would be performing 100x more. She said Reba and CFY should be cursing the untalented film crew for making them look so bad. At least she didn’t complain about them personally.

I’m not bashing her young male leads, because I think they performed well, but the moment I notice the male lead is so young…it’s an uphill battle right at the start in my mind. She has best chemistry with GWG, YY, Allen Ren, HJY…I think Arthur is doing well but I was a bit prejudiced at first. Did you watch Blue Whisper? I really enjoyed that one.
