I've only read up on the first one, that one would definitely be an idol drama but I would watch it! Idol dramas get a lot of traffic, but they don't usually win national awards like the Feitian (Flying Apsaras) or Magnolia awards. Actually, I take that back... the Golden Eagle is a national award and Reba did win it! She also got nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Magnolia for 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms. And "Anarhan" was nominated for Best TV Series for the Magnolia. This girl is so decorated!

I feel that YY's acting hasn't improved as quickly as Reba's. I have nothing against YY and enjoyed several of his idol dramas.

I wonder whether Reba's next drama will be an idol drama or a mainstream drama. The last 2 dramas she filmed were non idol dramas which is actually a good career move because long term, you can't just keep doing idol dramas. Idol dramas usually feature good looking actors to keep viewers glue to the screen to overlook poor plot lines.

With Dilraba's popularity, I would've hoped her management would be more selective with her projects by this point👀…
But this is not a fantasy drama so I don’t expect much special effects. The sets are huge, look at the set for the Pleasure House in ep 2. Also there are so many extras all in costumes, those aren’t cheap either!
