i like the auntie (of ML) and the uncle ( of FL), they are cute .
Yeah! even they have chemistry

Agree, they have zero chemistry. It’s dead
Yeah it was dead from the very beginning. I love romance, so it’s something I notice right away.

Hm please define "romantic chemistry between the leads" . I see romantic chemistry, it is 10000% there,…
That’s such a weird thing to bring up. I’m literally on a K‑drama site. K‑dramas are known for not jumping into bed scenes and for taking things slow when it comes to touching or physical intimacy, so it makes no sense for you to mention that. Romantic chemistry is about how the dynamic works — how they talk, how they interact, how they feel together when they’re just hanging out. It’s completely nonexistent between them. It’s just so bad. There is no ship, no sparks, NOTHING

Its a really good drama, but there is no romantic chemistry between the leads. The romance is so bad.

Title Climax
Anyone else who finds this drama boring? I am starting to dislike the style of filming and the sheer muck these…
There is nothing real about this, like the show doesnt give us reason to care about these people. Just lying, and fake relations

You described perfectly why women are whining about men all day long. They always choose the more handsome, cool…
Did I ever say the second male lead was perfect? No.
And he also paid for her afterwards when she ordered half the menu. So let’s not twist that part. I’m not judging the ML because he’s introverted or because he’s not as attractive as the SML. I’m judging him because the writing makes him awkward, passive, meh‑energy, and completely lacking presence. That’s not the same thing as being masculine or confident.

Women are attracted to men who stand tall, know what they want, and actually go after it. That’s not my opinion — that’s basic attraction psychology. Read science, David.

A man doesn’t need to be a playboy, a fighter, or a flirt to be masculine. But he does need the ability to lead moments, communicate, and show steady confidence. The ML is too hesitant, too unsure, and too unable to express himself. That’s why he’s not landing with viewers.

Women want a man who is steady and sure of himself — even if he’s introverted.
That’s why the ML in Love Scout worked. He had quiet confidence and grounding energy. Comparing him to this ML is wild, because they’re not written the same way at all.

And no — two people don’t need to be perfect on a first date, but there should be spark and flow. IF THE DATE FEELS FORCED, WITH NO CONNECTION,. The way you talk like a date is supposed to be awkward, stiff, and lacking in conversation tells me a lot about the types of dates you’ve been on, David. Sad.
For your information, I date masculine men who make me feel emotionally and physically safe — men I can lean on, men who lead, not men I have to drag like dead weight.

You’re acting like women only choose “handsome playboys,” but the real issue is that the ML in this drama simply isn’t written as a good romantic lead for the female gaze, David.

First of all, you’re wrong about the second ML. He actually seems serious about the FL — he’s attentive, present, and he isn’t chasing other women. Their dynamic feels natural, not forced like it does with the ML.

Second, the problem isn’t stability. A man can be reliable and stable without being awkward or boring. A stable man can still have charisma, chemistry, and masculine presence. The ML gives off socially isolated energy, and the bigger issue is that he doesn’t connect with her naturally.

When it comes to biology and attraction, many women simply aren’t drawn to the “socially isolated, awkward, never‑dated‑anyone” vibe. BUT it could have worked if the FL’s personality matched that type of man.

And if you identify with that type of man, David, don’t worry — there are women who LOVE that vibe. No need to get overly emotional about it.

dropping because the ML looks like he has 200TB of CP on his computer
The ML looks like he’s been cut off from social contact for ten years, with the energy of someone who has a woman locked in his basement. He never speaks to her either, only watches bc he is passive
On The Practical Guide to Love Mar 14, 2026
The ML is the “ideal boring, safe choice on paper,” but he doesn’t actually match the FL emotionally. He’s slow to act, passive at times, and awkward. Where is the masculinity that makes a woman feel safe and open? A romance drama lives or dies on chemistry, and all we get from them are polite smiles and awkward small talk.

Meanwhile, the second ML brings out her real personality — freedom, spontaneity, laughter, and the feeling of being alive. He is kind, masculine and cares for her. If the story had been honest, she would’ve connected with the SML emotionally and realized the ML wasn’t her match. The conflict could have been about their real obstacles — how he doesn’t feel completely safe or reliable enough for her to build a future with him. The FL needs someone like the second ML, someone who brings out her spontaneous side after she’s been strict and work‑focused her whole life.

The writing is bad because the second ML is 100% better when it comes to romantic chemistry. How are we supposed to root for the first male lead?

This is obviously your opinion.
That was a weird comment. You do know that reviews are always someone’s opinion, right? If you think reviews claim to be universal truth, then oh...
On In Your Radiant Season Feb 24, 2026
Watch this only if you don’t mind a slow plot filled with coincidences and moments of cringy acting.
The drama starts off promising (minus the awkward AI‑looking intro), and both leads have tragic backstories that shape their behavior. That part actually makes sense — you can see why they act the way they do. But why didnt her gradma/sister mention therapy ? They have the money to get the best one. Its a slow character‑driven stories, that focus on healing, relatinships which gives off a warm tone, and heartfelt moments:

But the execution is just bad, but it can be overlooked if you are into it. The male lead is way too cringe in many scenes, to the point where it pulls you out of the story. The pacing is slow, too many filler scenes, and the plot relies on way too many coincidences: the café owner knowing both leads, random character connections, and even ties to the grandma. It feels like a messy web of forced entanglements.

Yeah, same. That whole race thing was just off—totally unrealistic
What do you mean? Your comment is kind of weird. It’s totally possible to make it close to realistic. That whole race scene felt like a Squid Game spin-off and didn’t match the plot’s vibe at all. I’m allowed to have my own opinion.
don’t reply to people if your arguments aren’t making sense.

I'm personally not a big fan of where the story went in eps 5 and 6, but I'll stick around for the revenge.

Random stuff keep happening. Now we are having a pageant arc out of nowhere. (The Fl would never be interested in that, and she does not fit the standards at all.) They ruined FL 2 character just to make everything easier for FL.

So now the clumsy girl wants to be Miss Korea ? What a time to be alive ! She can’t even walk properly, and…
She does not fit the beauty standards too. This is so unrealistic. Plus this was always 2fl dream. Its just wrong
