What did I just watch?
I don't usually write reviews, but this series is so bad, I had to write one anyway.I'll make it short and straight to the point: this is soft p*rn with inconsequential and nonsensical story fillers between scenes. And the p*rn isn't even good. 2 of the 3 couples are stiff, unrealistic kisses, unrealistic positions. My Stubborn shows a lot of non-consent with one couple (BL) and power abuse with the other (GL). Let's not talk about the third... I mean, I was scared the fillers in their lips would explode if they'd applied any pressure while kissing. It was painful to watch.
There are three tired, old and dry-sucked story concepts watered down to literally nothing. They don't really connect to each other either. As for the acting: most did a good job with the crappy material they were given to work with. Some tried hard and it shows.
I hope, you didn't pay to watch this. There is literally better p*rn out there.

How to sensitize a country towards acceptance of other than heteronormative. This is how you do it.
Nice, slow paced, realistic coming of age story. Honestly, just a little too slow in the last 2 episodes. That's my only negative point. Hang in there.Take it from someone who used to work in a taskforce for sex education and in another for implementation of marriage rights for same sex partners in the early 2000: This is not your typical BL with hot young males geared towards an hetero female audience. Far from it. It's rather of beautiful and realistic content for a population of a country that slowly opens to diverse sexual identity. Educational but by no means lecturing.
The series shows how a young man who comes to understand himself and some relationship dynamics in an accepting, loving and realistic heteronormative environment. Mind, it's not fluffy at all. There is anger, and tears, and pain. But also longing, understanding, friendship, love. Oh, and some really funny stuff in between.... I mean, the sisters!! Or: "... didn't you wash your hands?! Pppffffflll..."
Some story content is told without words. In long shots. They are entertaining. And they feel sooo real. F.e. there is nobody who has not experienced sleeplessness at some stage in their life because there are just too many thoughts in their head. The ensuing chaotic sleep pattern of both friends is fun to watch. Literally, that could have been me and my sister in our youth some 40 years ago...
The acting is top notch. On point. I love the camera work. The editing. The play with light and grittiness. The angles. It's awesome, someone really thought this through.
This is a must watch. I hope, it will surpass "Semantic Error" and will be a true milestone reaching great popularity in South Korea, or Asia. Or the whole world really.
