I watched the series first. The series is way more better than the movie for me (maybe because of the budget). But the series and movie do have same plot (somehow), its just that the series is more elaborated.

This is sci-fi, thriller, supernatural genre. Expect that kind of cinematography ;) if you have time give the 10eps a try. The plot itself is amazing :) if you enjoy this kind of genreee you will definitely like it :) but it seems you will not because of your preference that the series is dark so the plot too. Just keep in mind that "Dark is not evil or bad". ;)

I beg to disagree with you :) they used their powers(potentials) besides on their own episode. Especially when the time Wave's little purge and when their midterm examination (some of them) happened and many more ep :) Im also rooting for second season. I know they will offer us more. And i know it will be great. :)

I guess they got high ratings because the series itself is so good :) i dont think that the series is 'wasted' because of the plot. Infact for me the plot is so good. Also every MAIN character of the series got their solo episode for us to understand their characters. For me they focus on the characters and they managed to do it given only with the span of 13ep. Upon reading the comments here while the series is on air makes me believe that this has a great plot. Why? Simply because everyone do have their own THEORY. That means the scriptwriter/s and director/s made the audience think about what will happened next. I've been a fan of scifi, thiller and supernatural genres most of them are not spoon-feed series/movies, we need to understand and think deeper (based on my observation). Overall the plot of this series is very on point and the actors gave justice to it. :)

This series is so lit. I finished this series two days ago and I must say up until now I'm still thinking the series. I love every character they are perfect for it. I really commend their acting skills. I wish im gifted to but too sad this is just a series hahaha but for those people who wants to watch series, give this one a try it will give justice to your time. Looking forward for Season 2!!! Please I/We need this. Anyways, would you please recommend me other series same as the gifted's genre? Thank u!
