Empowering women. Great chemistry. Beautiful music.

I started this drama out of boredom, and it succeeded in getting rid of it. The story, characters, music—it's all so beautiful.

Every time the OST played, I got emotional. Each time I saw how hard Mu Dan fought, and how she continued fighting even after having a thousand stones in her way, I got emotional.

I love the women-supporting-women topic in this drama. Seeing how Mu Dan saves so many women makes me incredibly happy.

I know some people think the characters are flat and lack character development, but I don't think so at all. Yes, the development wasn't outstanding for most of the characters, but also keep in mind that it's the first part.

Sheng Yi is the best example of an interesting character. Her story was an emotional rollercoaster. So well-written.

As I said before, the music is beautiful. That depends on the person; I saw people say it's not memorable, but for me personally, it was the opposite.

The acting was great, especially from Mu Dan. The male lead could have done better at some points, but still, he did great. The chemistry is also, so good.

Overall, I recommend this drama a lot. Just give it a try and see if it's to your liking.

I do hope they concentrate more on the friend/family bond in the next part and show some of Mu Dan's trauma and healing process. She hasn't had many healing scenes yet.
