Who said the ori cringe?? I just said that the things that can work in Aoki jp ver can't be worked the same to the other adaptation, moreover, it's adapted by other country.... The humor of each country is different. The JP ver is good because it has the same background with the manga, but if Aoki in manga will be implemented the same with Atom it won't work because Thai itself is diff from JP. I don't know why you said like this and I'm sorry if what I'm saying previously get you the wrong idea. I'm just saying that you can't expect every adaptation to be the same 100% and no something new to it. If there's no different like i said it's better to just watch the ori, and again i don't know what show thay you're watching that you said there's aoki in other series, but even tho there's Aoki in others it still be not as dramatic as Aoki. Also, the production itself is full of bad lighting, bad pacing so it's not a perfect show. And once again I'll say I'm sorry if what i said offending you, i just need to feel say what's in my mind so i wrote that.. if it's still offending you I'll edit it.
The things I like about this adaptation is that they make it different from the JP. From someone who loves watching movie or series from Korea, JP, and Thai, I can for sure say that each country has different way to deliver the story and how the actors behave. From JP movies or series, they have that gestures when they react to something and if you watch it at first time it can be either catch you right way or make you hah?? and it takes time. For Korea, they win with that background sound for each scene that makes you hook to the story and they can make a lot of different types of drama. While Thai, what i can see is that either they can make a really good series or really bad one and mostly the scoop of the story is still limited, even though rn they try to make many different story and the acting of the actors is either no no or really good one.
So, my point is that each country have different type of things to deliver the story. You can't expect the gesture of Japanese's story to be applied to the Thai story right?? It's the same with MLMU adaptation, because the manga is from Japan, the character of IdaAoki can be taken from the manga directly and be applied to the actors who played that. But, if you bring the adaptation to other countries, you should adjust to their characteristic that match with their own country, right?
Can you imagine if the overly dramatic Aoki that if he made a mistake he will put the plastic bag over himself be applied to Atom, it will only make it to cringe and over dramatic right? Because when it brought to Thai, the way they behave is different. It suitable for Aoki because Japan has that gesture that sometimes is dramatic and full of colours.. same wise like Ida and Kongthap, they are portrayed as someone quiet but still have expressive, however the portrayal of the quiet characters can be differed from each person, you can't expect the same and the same case with Aoki, you can't expect Kongthap character to be just the same with the JP ver, because each country has each portrayal..
The important things for the adaptation in which it's adapted from different countries is the essence of the story and the essence of the character. I like it when Thai portrayed the characters KongAtom differently from IdaAoki, but the essence of the characters still there and not going astray, so we can see them as different entities and not just trying to copy paste. I really don't like it when adapting something just copy paste, it's better to see the original. With different portrayal, we can see how things will go..
And Geminifourth chemistry is the best, they are so cute of being together and little smile they give eo wuihhh. I wanna watch again... And again Geminifourth is the perfect casting for this series, i can't imagine someone else playing this other then them and if you say otherwise. I dunno what's matter with you.
Ah also the bad things of this series is the lighting, the production team needs to work harder of they wanna catch other people's attention...
