You didn´t understand at all. You can´t change history. It´s more important even to know all the facts that we don´t like, because it´s the only way to not repeat them. But if you show a fake past, filled with unicorns and rainbows, with equality, without racism or injustice, all the knowledge about our mistakes in the past, will disapear. Well I was liking this drama soooo much. I love Bai Lu, I didn´t specially like LYX before, but I have to say that he reached the top with this caracter. He has the skill to act in each of his gestures, body languaje, look... For me he was the best. As for Bai Lu, I think the production, direction or script, couldn´t show us the deepeness of her character.
All the actors portrayed their characters wonderfully. For me, this drama was 9.5 or 10 until today...

You can´t have TTJ suffering, and suffering, and suffering more, for 40 chapters, giving his life, showing generosity with all living beings in general, and a great gratitude for those who showed even only a bit of kindness to him, having the greatest of all his battles against himself and his own nature... only to die at the end.

I know this happens in xianxias, but this high level of deep suffering and sadness, has been sending me a message of "he will have some reward at the end". I know that happens in real life, but xianxias are not real life, and we, as viewers were expecting something more.

I´m sure the problem was the editting. There are minutes and minutes of flashbacks, no ending battles (TTJ was dying for 45 min in the last epìsode), more minutes of scenes of less relevant characters, etc. Couldn´t they save at least five minutes to show us the end we all were waiting for?

They knew most of us have read the novel. They knew we wanted TTJ compensated in any way for all his painful life. They played with those expectatives untill the end, and cutted the only scene we needed to watch. We wanted to see that all his suffering was worth it. Like the novel. We wanted that hope.

I´m not going to give this drama a bad score. The costumes, the special effects, the portrayal of its actors, the music... it has so much good points. But I consider it´s very important the way you close a story. It has to be a closure as good as the story. And this production couldn´t do that. The end is very important.

I don´t like this kind of plots neither, but in this case, I love it. Because it´s more than well acted, it´s mixed with great battles and sweet moments, and there are things happening all the time.
Not being, in theory, my cup of tea, this arc surprised me in a good way. I´m sure most of the people who are complaining can watch a drama having this kind of plot, with 40 or 50 eps, without blinking their eyes. I don´t understand so much complains about it.
This is a Xianxia. Maybe we don´t remember that.
And maybe it´s time to practice the healthy and popular drama sport of jumping epìsodes. It´s not a tragedy.

GNT is the main lead I hate the most. That "not with you, but not without you" attitude. I watch every chapter with the hope that he will wake up, but every time I find myself disappointed.

This kind of behaviour could be normal for a innexperienced teenager, but not for a man like GNT. It´s childish, inmature, and the worst, coward.
