Watch this film like you would listen to music
At first, I thought the story was too drawn-out, but over time, I realized it was just the right pace to reach the soul.
Even though it sometimes feels like the actors need five minutes to finish a simple sentence, and you want to shake the characters to finally open their mouths, that's ultimately what makes the film special. It's like slow music you listen to, giving you time to really immerse yourself in the music.
The actors embody the different characters brilliantly – not just the main roles, but also the supporting roles are superbly cast. You don't just see the characters' inner moods, you feel them and empathize with them.
All in all, this film is a wonderful production with atmospheric images and excellently chosen music. So if you ask me, "Do you like Brahms?", I answer with a resounding YES.
