Stories are open to interpretation, and audiences naturally project different perspectives onto them. Recognizing potential for a BL dynamic in High School Frenemy doesn’t mean insisting that everything must be BL. It’s simply an observation based on character dynamics and narrative themes. Literature and media have long been analyzed through various lenses, and this is no different. A different interpretation does not invalidate the original work, it just adds to the discussion.
Interesting but I just feel like they took too long to get to the point that I had to skip a few episodes. Slow burn doesn’t necessarily have to mean boring but I admit the characters did so well so I’ll give that to them.
Absolutely no reason not to watch this. The only sad thing would probably be that the episodes are not very long, aside that it’s an enjoyable watch. I felt every moment with them from the sad to the happy ones and so on. I’m also really glad there was a bit more to the plot than your typical boy meets boy and then they fall in love. 😅
I earnestly don’t know how to feel about this one. I don’t know if it’s the acting or the plot that I find a bit unsettling but I’ve seen worse so I’ll give them a 5 for the effort 😁
Just completed this and I kept thinking of why Mew would let Top back into his life and not Ton his “friend” and I felt like it made no sense considering they were friends but then I realized that is exactly the reason he wouldn’t want Ton back into his life. I don’t know if that makes any sense? In simpler terms, as a friend, Ton should have known better than to do what he did and the fact that he did that regardless of their friendship is quite hurtful, like that level of betrayal hurts more when it’s from a friend you’ve known the longest . I guess I can understand Mew in this sense assuming that’s the angle he is coming from.
SandRay…. Ahhh… somewhat Toxic but also really addicting, it’s like a drug… I love them. I almost screamed when I thought it was going to be a wild scene with Boeing 😅.
Someone like Boston, there is no changing him and I’m glad that Nick realized that eventually even if it took a while. I just hope he doesn’t go back to him later.
Very cliche, nothing spectacular. Some scenes were somewhat exaggerated too like the restaurant date with the writer, nobody actually acts like that on a date. It was funny in some parts and had its moments but some of the humor seemed really forced in some parts. Overall, you can consider it a filler when you have nothing to watch
This would have made a solid BL story.
I don’t care! In my head, these two got married and lived happily ever after 🤭
Darn it! I hate the censorship but I’ll take this over nothing I guess 😭😅
