Su Chengcheng pulling Tang Qi away from the crowd, with romantic music as the background, then hugging him, who…
Very heart fluttering romantic. Especially with the blossoms. For a second there, I thought I was watching The Best Thing. Loving how they transition between black and white and color. So artistic.
I kinda didn’t like how Dr. He swooped in like a savior when XiFan was finally articulating her hurt and anger…
She made a lot of progress with being able to finally confront him. Both Dr He and her dad stood up. The aftermath show how much strength that took out of her and her turmoil with herself. She still not quite there yet.
O dear compadres of mine, might ye recommend unto me some dramas, preferably of the Chinese kind, akin to this…
This one is super special. I cannot think of any that can compare. The following have some elements similar.
Fake it til you make it -lots of flirting As beautiful as you - with seven tan, endearing lifetime love She and her perfect husband - more about supportive “husband” The forbidden flower - angsty but passionate
I’m gonna say it again, we are so lucky to have this talented cinematographer/director, the scriptwriter who helped with Love 020, and a creative team who supported on making this drama and our main leads so wonderful.
It’s been such has a breath of fresh air to see a more down to earth romance drama about healing from a dark and hurtful emotional state. It’s doesn’t shy away from exposing our vulnerabilities and needs. At the same time, there’s no singular rising out of the ashes on our own strength but instead, it reveals the need for human interconnections and support.
Of course, making our hearts flutter and wishing we had a Dr. he by our side is the extra sweetness.
