Regarding XL dead. Isn’t TTJ just give him poison stab? His purpose is to make XL and YXW come back to him and he will give the antidote. But XL chooses to die rather than that. He surrender and give his people but he will be asshamed if he still alive while Sheng kingdom itself is fall. So actually TTJ doesn’t really wants XL dead.

I think in the earlier drama it said that if TTJ died the Devil god will raise, so I assume it will take his body and mind too, I guess

He promise XL to spare her life and he had the bracelets so he sure that he can save both girls, it’s a win win, that’s why he chose YBC first
