I agree it’d be beneficial, but it doesn’t always work that way sadly. Regardless the length of the relationship. It’s especially hard when neither is capable of properly communicating with one another. While the FL undoubtedly chose the wrong way to end things they were equally at fault in how it failed.
I’m sure there will be some people who hate the reasoning for their break up. It’s not one big misunderstanding nor definitive who’s exactly at fault or how much. Above all though it’s realistic. I forget if it was the second FL that said timing is key and that’s true. Sometimes things just don’t work out. Not for a lack of caring or anything. It’s not necessarily due to one huge event either. They just don’t and that’s life. I appreciate the nuance it gives to the relationship in that approach.
There must be more to the ML’s death. I feel like the older brother is behind it. Assuming ML was in the other car. That dump truck hit FL’s car but easily could have plowed right into it like the ML’s. Instead it seemed more like getting it out of the way.
