Better for an older audience.
Mature viewers will appreciate this drama more. Unexpectedly very good. The actors were right fit for their roles. Smart script. Contemporary romance of two couples. It gives a slight "S$x and the city" vibe overall. I liked the two fmls, its one with her own personality and issues. Yin and yang friendship.Was this review helpful to you?
Could have been better.
I think the story had potential to be way better. It felt like the script was struggling to make sense. I was hoping for a strong comedy with a side of romance. But it was more emotional and almost depressing. The actors were not bad in their roles. Maybe my expectations were high or this drama sure fall flat.Was this review helpful to you?

Very funny and endearing kdrama. Loved the couple and their dynamic. The actors were a right fit for their roles. The ties everything together beautifully. It has a very satisfying ending. The only thing is, that towards the end it feels rushed. And also, I wanted the fml to have even more badass heroine moments. A favourite for sure.
I have watched this show multiple times already. Hyeri is the best in it! She was my favourite character. Amazing and underrated actress. One of the funniest kdramas out there, in my opinion. Also, the nostalgia factor of the show is strong and quite endearing. The best "Reply" out of the three. The fml actress is phenomenal in this role.
I don't know if the actress didn't do such great portrayal of the role, if the show would have had that success. She was amazing. Very funny scenes. All the actors work well together. I was rooting for So-yong hardcore since the beginning, so yay! The ladies in waiting were hilarious. I get the hype for the show and you will too.Was this review helpful to you?
I have a beef with this show..
And particularly its ending! The director of the show did us so dirty. Loved the couple, no doubt. I found the storyline refreshing and yet predictable at the same time. The chemistry of the leads is a bullseye. The ost is so amazing, I want to buy it. In the beginning it has a lot of comedy in it, then grows quite serious and somber. REALLY loved the dark vibe of the show. Very good acting and storyline. I felt satisfied when I completed watching it. Without a doubt is a favorite. The actors not only have very good chemistry, but individually the hit a home run in their roles. Love the maturity and complexity of the show. The production team did a phenomenal job. Lusi takes the show all to herself.
Quite good, especially the first 10 episodes or so. Lusi always nails the role of a comic troublemaker. A lot of funny moments. I think it should have been shorter though. It gets a little boring and predictable after a while. The male lead is just okay, the chemistry between the couple is not quite there. Enjoyed a particular dancing/signing scene in the show. I must have watched it 20 times online so far. The story is intriguing, but not something original.Was this review helpful to you?
To pass the time. Familiar plot.
Reminded me of W kdrama. Very short(2episodes), it felt like I watched nothing really. Did like the couple/actors and the ending at least. The post credit footage was a nice touch. The actor has a beautiful voice. I don't know if it is an actual webtoon adaptation, but it has that vibe fully. Of course, the story is not original, you can find multiple dramas with the same plot. Intriguing story, but..
The concept of the show is very intriguing, but the casting of the fml and ml was a big miss. The secondary characters and the actors that portrayed them were far more interesting. I didn't like the fml at all honesty. She stayed timid most of the drama. And the last episode felt so unclimatic. Good acting.
With more depth than I was expecting. Very good acting. Liked the songs. Overall really good show. It is a remake of an American movie that I know of with Zak Efron. Same title too I think. The series is worth watching even if you have already seen the movie. The male lead actor has done a good job with his role.Was this review helpful to you?
Weak script and acting
I've tried to watch as a recommendation for When I fly towards you(which I liked). Barely made it into 5 episodes with this one though. The concept is catchy, yet unoriginal, with childhood friends that one has a crush towards the other. And you hope the show would be funny and romantic. But for me, I found the script mediocre at best and the acting less so. There are better series with the same concept out there for you to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the very best kdramas out there.
A highly carefully detailed production, exceptional script and an excellent acting make the perfect recipe to any show. And this one has it all. The story makes you want to keep watching. I had the same feelings I had watching Reply 1988. Nostalgia for a past I didn't even live or knew in some ways(since I am not South Korean) and familiar with it in others. Like when popular movies of that time where mentioned. The whole cast was on point. The script simply beautiful and the production the best. This show is more like an artistic masterpiece.
