I chose to post a comment on your review because I consider it the best of all I have read so far. I saw all three movies. And I saw all three again. The first time I was shocked by the sex scenes, the evolution of events and I could not pay attention to the subject itself. I reviewed all three films to understand their idea, their subject. I suppose such a thing really exists and if so, I am even more terrified. The story for me is a very sad one, but I think the saying "where there is demand, there is also supply" is valid. I was impressed by the acting. And YES, you are very right when you say that what they did involves a huge amount of work! Theirs, but also everyone involved in making these films. They performed so well that everything seemed so real, presenting the dark side of this underground world in a plausible, even palpable way. I was not impressed by the music. But I was impressed by the moments of silence, the pauses in conversations, the static moments that added gravity to the story. Clenched teeth, poker faces, expressionless eyes, facial expressions and gestures completed the existing dialogue in a perfect way. Even if the subject is NOIR and it terrified me, I must admit that these movies are excellent and worth seeing.
