Yes, this is correct. I have more to add but these three points basically mean that he is self-centered. No one talks about point 1 enough, which is very toxic. One thing that hasn't changed from the past is that he is quite vain. While he does things to help Ae Jeong, it is always for an ulterior goal which is to make Ae Jeong fall for him.
Even at his age, he is petty and he gets on Ae Jeong's nerves. Although it's different now (but at some point it still is, unintentionally), I really don't like how he initially wanted to meet Ae Jeong to make her life hard. Wanting to help her suddenly and saying those cheesy lines cannot make me forget that he publicized his heartbreak through his novel and painted the inspiration to Ae Jeong's character as a cold villain when he didn't fully understand the situation in the first place. I still cringe about the book concert at the beginning, when the interviewer was asking him questions about the heroine and he kept on staring at Ae Jeong, guilt-tripping her about why she suddenly left. Also, his confession at the hospital wasn't cute, either. He was blackmailing her in a way by eating a food he's allergic to just to push her into accepting his confession. His whole personality when it comes to Ae Jeong is TOXIC.
I can never see him as sweet or cute, only desperate and immature.
The plot has been very predictable so far and I am not really liking it. If they really come up with the typical…
Someone pointed it out? OMG because since episode 3 started I really feel like Jin liked Dae Oh and not Ae Jeong. I highly think this is plausible and I'd be happy with this twist. I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one who noticed the possibiity of Jin being a closeted gay. And I do agree, I hope they take an unpredicable route in resolving the whole father mystery.
If it's written by someone over the age of 12 and understands that the Writer's behaviour is toxic and super disgusting,…
"Its just that as much as he tries to hide and cover his feelings, they get out but in a wrong way" this is true which is why it's high time for him to recognize that he can become toxic. It's clear for now that the only relationship AJ wants for them is as a professional PD and writer, but he gets so caught up with his personal issue which lasted for 14 years that he becomes downright defensive, which, admittedly, is not cute at all. He publicized his heartbreak through his debut novel and painted himself as the victim without ever considering the other side at all. She just broke up with him and suddenly he paints her as a lover/villain in his story and the worst part is when he gets asked about why, he's got nothing to say. I know this is the main plot the drama will go through and we'll get to that as they make his movie but I really can''t root for him at all.
Also for RyuJin, you said he's "a well renowned actor, a grown up man and yet emotionally unstable, confused and frightened all the time." Well, to be fair, Oh Dae Oh/Cheon Ok Man is also a grown up man who is emotionally unstable, even more so than Ryujin.

I don't understand how his attitude can be considered appropriate for someone who wants their ex back. He spent 14 years cooking up a revenge plot for her to come to him through his one-sided novel and he has the audacity to be arrogant and rude and for what? Because he never understood why they broke up? Geez, man, grow up. Plus I really hate all his arm grabbing scenes, that trope should stop. I like the gangster though I have to agree, it's kind of weird how he feels attached to AJ just because she looks like his ex wife, but at least he's never hurt her. I really have nothing to say about Ryu Jin but for now, I'm okay with him. We don't know much about him but I feel like he genuinely loved AJ but it seems like it was never reciprocated at all. May I ask though why you think YW is almost a sociopath over AJ? Because the way I see it he's just a younger guy who've liked the same person all these years, and I think he knew about AJ's pregnancy and offered to take care of the baby but something happened (the sauna knocking scene) that made them, sadly, part ways,. And I I believe that was probably the work of his mother.
Ngl, I would literally accept anyone other than the writer being her baby daddy (and eventually the one she ends…
SAME i'm tired of MLs who act their own way just because they believe they were the only ones hurting. This usually makes them unnecessarily rude to FLs and when we are given some scenes where they suddenly do some sweet gestures or say a cheesy line, it's as if everything is already okay.
Although FL will most probably end up with the writer, I'm still hoping that she wouldn't be. My first choice is the PE teacher and then the retired gangster. I really can't stand the writer he's a grown man but he acts like a child. He's quite insensitive and I really don't find his revenge plot (which is now thankfully over) cute at all. Don't even get me started with his tsundere attitude. This drama will automatically be one of this year's best if FL doesn't end up with the most predictable choice, aka the petty writer.
