Okay.... my honest reaction to the ending was WTF WAS THAT!?!! Why the hell would she risk her life for a SINGLE…
Yeah, I actually planned to check out the anime in the future, not that many action anime has a strong heroine as the protagonist of the story. Since the Shonen genre is the most popular, nowadays they mostly focus mainly on male protagonists.
Ep 3: Bro!! Yooo!! That Rakugo Master on TV is the same Rakugo Master that taught her Rakugo to perform on stage (irl). Ohh so they meet again after 10 years. The performance was for the 2020 New Year celebration. Bruh, she was chucking in the bitter melon while he was having an emotional confession- The beer spatting on each other's faces at the end- XD
Ep 1: Lmao, I swear most of the screenwriter-san's works always open the drama with the night and sky shots of the city overview. It's only 5 min in and I already felt a heavy lift in my heart wth- That was heavy as heck!! The two child actors were really good too. Usually, there won't be a video for the ending of an episode in Jdramas that I watched. It would just be the credits roll over the scenes. The video here felt like a POV memory.
Ep 1: "I am not illegal." Out of context, this would be so funny and confusing lmao "You can eat me, too!" AHOMIYA!!! DX ahahaha Lmao, since this season was from 2010, her face's shape changed from the previous season. I see soft girl Saki on her face. The mismatched images and behaviors make my brain confused bruh!! Yabai!!! XD
Smol Yoshikawa Ai-san at the end!!! It took me quite a few episodes to get used to Hotaru lmao. The OTTs took me a while to adjust, but then It didn't bother me that much at all. I mean like bruh this was from 2007 and it's from a manga. It was a really fun watch. I really like her relationships and interactions with Buchou. Alright now off to season 2!!!
I love how they used "cho/butterfly" as Nobunaga's female counterpart. Nobunaga also wore a lot of butterfly necklaces…
In this, they don't introduce nor explain the concubines that Nobunaga had children with irl. But since there are little to no records about them, I guess the concubines part can pass, but the children? Also, the boat going to Europe!! I'm still recovering from the Legend & Butterfly. ;-;

Bruh the ending... Okie then XD But there was a scene that made me go "Alright, a smart move lmao!!" When the…
Ando, bro cheated the system!!! XD The ML really threw away that amount of money bruh!!! I kinda knew who was gonna survive, but damn didn't expect that move from Ando. I thought Shoko would just shoot one person to stop the experiment since she was so sus.
[Hmm... a soft-looking person who likes to read books... yeah let's see... :D "I've been watching you all the time. You're very kind." Oi oi oi, chotto matte- sus af XD]

I got baited because MDL put Ayase-san in the main cast, bruh XD.At the beginning of the movie, they literally…
I still haven't fully recovered from JIN yet. The same thing with Saki, she literally stayed alone her whole life and didn't remarry... ;-; Urghh!! The way Tetsuzo and Jin were also looking at the old photos...
Wow- a tall still-standing building among the ruins of the city..."The Americans will be here soon." Yabai...…
I got baited because MDL put Ayase-san in the main cast, bruh XD. At the beginning of the movie, they literally revealed it to us. I was like "Hold up- his present wife- omfg- that means... ehh...!!!" Aish, I was expecting to see Ayase-san in a white wedding Kimono ._. Maybe that clip I saw was from another movie or drama. (Edit: nvm, I found it. It was actually in Kurobe no Taiyo lol.) I tuned in for her less-than-5-minutes screentime XD And their ending bruh... she was also on his boat riding with all of them. ;-;

I'm glad the "tragic romance of a Princess" wasn't about Hamaji and Shino. AISH!!! I can't shake the idea that Hamaji is Shino's aunt off my head- DX At first, I was like "Hold up!!- they are cousins?" 0-0 I felt relieved when she was actually the Second Princess of Satomi and was adopted. Then I realized "WAIT NO!!! THAT MAKES HER HIS AUNT!!!! at least spiritually, WTF!!! " Ahahah whatever at least they aren't blood-related. Their wedding was beautiful though. Finally, everyone can rest and enjoy their lives peacefully. Sousuke can't stop smiling ksksksksks same bro, same!!! XD
Considering this was from 17 years ago, this was surprisingly really good. The opening bit with the theme song already made me search for the full version. Brave Soul by S.E.N.S is so beautiful and nostalgic. The sword fights choreography reminds me so much of Wuxia dramas. Then someone said they filmed this in China more specifically, Inner Mongolia. Well, that explained it hahaha. Since this is a novel written and published in the late Edo period, the story gave off that epic feeling and interesting characters with their own backstories. I would also like this to be a drama instead of SP since the novel still has much more content to it, but yeah this is expensive to produce indeed. The story also ended on a good note that still applies to today's world too.
Nakatani Miki-san played an important role in the story but isn't included in the cast here. She even sang the theme song at the end. The BGM they used for the scenery scenes was nostalgic even though I wasn't born during that era. The scenery reminds me so much of Natsuzora, then the character revealed it really is Hokkaido.
I thought I wouldn't like it much since it was from 2008. I ended up enjoying it more than I expected lol. The comedy timing was so good. Plus, the translator's notes too are hilarious. The story itself is like a cat-and-mouse chasing, or in this case, deer and rat. XD My god, all of the glues and the misleadings I got while watching hahaha. It was fun I guess. When the characters finally thought they made it, *bam* there's a problem. At the end of the day, they still solved them though.
Since this is set in Nara, and one of our main cast is a History teacher, we got to listen to her history ramblings along the way. Not annoying or anything though, it was cute and educational ahahah, but also crucial to the plot itself. So yeah, take them as Japanese History Lessons. XD
