Just a PSA to anyone who is thinking about watching this and read this comment: The age gap is 5 years. He did meet her when she was underage a handful of times. He did not develop any romantic feelings for her until she was an adult in college. During the development of their feelings/relationship, they did talk and discuss about their age gap. He did not fall in love with her just because she's an adult now.

I personally thought the plot twist ending was very interesting. I thought it fit very well!! Overall, the additions and ending of the drama gave it a different feel/theme to it. As much as I would've liked for the original ending to be part of the drama, I didn't hate this ending!

The FL's mother overheard Concubine Qin and the Ou family colluding together. And so, the Ou family killed her, but left evidence that suggested the ML killed the FL's mother with an arrow (similar to how he shot the arrow towards her when they first met).
