I'm not sure about everyone else but I sure am enjoying this drama. Kang Yeo Joo and the good yet unique element combinations definitely carry it for me. Some think it's messy but I think it has a very charming way of executing so many different themes together which makes it quite a different drama. It's not everyone's cup of tea though, if you like dark humour it's for you.
I've been liking quite a few of the female characters such as Kang Yeo Joo, Ahn Se Jin (detective woman), Bae Noo Ri (Cha Soo Ho's colleague) & Min Yoon Hee (Woo Sung's best friend's wife). I might even like Go Mi Rae depending on what we see about her. I am hoping Kang Yeo Joo she doesn't end up with Han Woo Sung.
I do think in recent times she's actually shown a lot of improvement, not sure if in the past it was bad script choices or something but I enjoy seeing her acting now.
One point people may have missed was that almost all characters fell into Grey areas, there's no Black and White. So arguing about whether or not xx was evil is a bit meaningless.
Baegyul = One of the best female main characters in Kdramas of all time. She isn't perfect nor are they trying to make her seem like she is. Even if she created issues willingly or unwillingly, she stuck with Oji through thick and thin
Oji = Small bean must protect, he's not evil but that doesn't mean he's pure. He just wanted to make ends meet and made bad choices for it to happen.
Minhee = She was alright until 2nd last/last episode, I understand her behaviour was fuelled because of Mr. Lee but she mildly became annoying because of it.
Kitae = Adorable smile but a douche, I actually was fine with his character until he spilled out Minhee's name at the police station which got her ostracised.
The beloved puppy we all need to love is Mr. Lee though, Choi Minsoo is a great actor so knowing he was in this drama made me hyped and I was not disappointed.
And now I have 2 more actors to look forward for, Kim Donghee and Park Joohyun.
I just finished watching The Murder of Snow White and really loved her acting. After looking her up, I realised it's the same actress from Repeat and Love Shuffle, I'm shocked by the contrast. Her versatility is amazing, she's a great actress.
It has. Even though he's a supporting character in 'Hwarang', you can see he's come a long way since 'To The Beautiful You'. In his movie 'Derailed', you can also see how much he has improved.
Does yamaneko has love interest in the series? I'd love to see someone's taming Mr. Wildcat...
Nope, he doesn't. But he has this brother-sister/father-daughter relationship with Mao where they squabble a lot but no one wins over the other but they still lecture at each other.
No, it was originally supposed to be 16 episodes long. However, the drama SBS is supposed to air after this one ends, "Wanted" still hasn't had its cast finalised. So, SBS extended this drama because they needed to buy more time.
