Based on Novel its Yai Kanthorn. Bright (the actor who played Khun Yai) also explain it yesterday on event by himself that the one is Yai Kanthorn not Khun Yai. The reason why Jom called him Khun Yai and he responded bcuz before that on Special Chapter in the novel, he got his vision abt his past life and remember everything. He understand that Jom might saw him as Khun Yai not Yai Kanthorn and he doesn’t mind it. So he decided to go to Thailand 2 days earlier just to meet Jom. In the novel, he also came to visit Jom at hospital when Jom still unconscious.

What do you mean? he is not Khun Yai. He is Yai Kanthorn; the reincarnation of Khun Yai (1920s). From 1928 to 2023 nearly hundred years, Khun Yai already died. Before he died, he pass the will to Yai Kanthorn’s mom (the one who chose Jom to renovate Palathip House + also the one who asked Uncle Tan to give the last key to Jom).

Just say that you like series when the main character already hook up in the first episode.

1. That’s a realistic situation to describe when someone suddenly back in the past. He needs to fully understand is this real or not. Cuz he wasn’t only moved to another country, but to whole different era. How scary and unusual it must be for him.

2. If you watch and focus on the detail, he tried to go back in EP 2. He sneak out in the night and drown himself where the place Ming found him before.

In EP 3 He even asked himself when he cried with Khun Yai beside him. “Did I do something wrong that I have to be here?”
He fully understand everything is clear enough for him after he saw Fong Kaew and Khamsaen (Ohm and Kaimook - Present time) also in that time.

This series really show us a lot, not only abt the romantic moment but also abt how servants lives their life in the past. I feel pity for Prik, she doesn’t do anything wrong, she just left that night to saw her mom for the last time. And that’s sad when Jom thought that he told the truth abt it, Yai’s parents will understand them. But, both of them still being punished by Yai’s parents. 🥹🤧 This series deserves more recognition internationally.

I like how Nonkul answer the question abt the reason why he chose IFYLITA as one of his project. He said, there’s many offer him to play but when he read that the NC scenes doesn’t make sense with the storyline, he rejected it. For IFYLITA, he accepts it bcuz the love scenes between the characters are make sense with the storyline. He also didn’t want to play a series with NC scenes that the only purpose to satisfy the viewers.

Right! Some ppl complain abt the pacing is slow bcuz they used to watched series when the main character already hook up in the first episode 🤭🤭
