I just watched this post and I completely agreeeeeee!!! I thought maybe I missed the part where somehow loony didn’t get the message where they were waiting for him!! I feel like he was so disappointed that he took the ride from his former dealer and was framed THE DAY HE WAS RELEASED 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

Yes! He was totally set up! 😠. Was there a part that I missed showing that loony didn’t find out where to meet his parents and bf?? Bc he went through soooo much to get clean! 😫

Nailed it! Lucky for me I watched most of it yesterday while I was doing laundry and housework so I didn’t mind that it was meh. Lol. But excellent point about the ml not seeming at all like an actual gangster. 🤪. I actually laughed when the chairman broke his fish tank and chopped off the fish head bc what? That was so dumb! Hahaha

Love your review! I agree that the show could have been so much more. I wish they’d leaned into the com of rom com and shown more of the king (ex-king) being schooled by his wife on how to be a commoner. There were many opportunities for funny situations and cuteness between them that I would have enjoyed. So, yeah. I’m still not sure if the glasss is half empty or half full!

You state exactly what I was thinking/feeling! Just finished ep 14 and I was like “come ON!” I have no problem suspending disbelief for a kdrama, but I literally said to my dogs (who are watching with me lol) “they have no authority to do that! Why should the people at the hospital listen to some random astronauts.??” 😂😂. Still gonna watch eps 15 & 16 though!

You are probably right but it’s so dumb. Not that I want him to be killed but logically, if you’re the killer, wouldn’t you go ahead and do away with him since he has seen you and you’ve tied him up, etc? Why leave it to chance? 😬. But she will probably have been in such a hurry to get MJ that he’ll still be alive at the tea shop. 🙄

I didn’t rewatch but should have. It took half the episode to become reoriented to the present!🤪
