I totally agree with your review. I just finished watching The Worst of Evil and the ending part sucked, while leaving much to be desired. Junmo and Euijong deserved some sort of resolution on their relationship. They sacrificed so much only to have that rushed ending, full of holes and so much viewer speculation. Their characters deserved a better ending and we the viewers needed closure. Even though the plot was trying to be as realistic as possible, considering that the characters have had their lives upended in ways they never imagined, we still needed to know that the possibility to work out their issues was explored. I actually detest thorny and uncertain endings and this particular one left a huge unscratched itch with me!
I cannot tell you enough how spot on you are with this review! I thought it was just me that found the plot flat, the main characters too one-dimensional, and the acting leaving a lot to be desired. I dropped out after three episodes, so kudos to you for finishing! 👏👏👏👏
