good plot, although the execution of it wasn't great

This is my first review so it might not be very coherent

First i would like to say that although the first thing i noticed while watching the show was that the acting wasn't the greatest, there were still a lot of things that i really did like while it was airing. I thought that the plot idea was great and that the male leads had great chemistry between them. I was always waiting excitedly for a new episode to release and I recommended the show to everyone I thought would appreciate it. But after finishing the show I feel like i probably should have waited to recommend it to others until it finished airing as the show became weaker and weaker towards the end, and I sort of regretted doing so.

The things that I really didn't like about the last few episodes and what put me off from recommending to most people:
- The plot begins to become weak towards the end as they include one plot twist after another, that everything isn't even really that surprising anymore and makes you not really care about what’s occurring (feels like they’re trying to make the last episode really surprising/dramatic as possible, but all of these plot twists just cause it to fall short and feel sort of cheap and rushed).
- The ending feels dumb as they bring back Kong and makes the whole show feel useless to me.
- There is an info dump that feels useless to me as im still confused about the lobbyist (although this might just be me being dumb)

I think that the show didn’t live up to what it could have been considering the great plot they had and the chemistry between the actors. Although I loved that show while it was first airing, by the end of it im not really excited for the second season (although ill probably still watch it as I’m holding on to the hope that theyll make something great out of the good things from this show)
