This gem is so underrated. The plot is not the best but solid enough, there are also twists. There was no theme song but the background music tracks did a good work. However, the cast is the thing I adore the most. I came for the old names but I just learned to love the characters play by new actors quickly. They was wrote to shine on their own with clear personalities, relatable, their relationships. The veteran actors still good, though. I just respect the young actors. This is the first drama for most of them, but they did their best while acting.
Somewhere I saw it has 13 episodes. Will it have any special episode
We had schedule for next drama broadcast on One31. 12 episodes is the final count. There were BLs with special episodes which weren't broadcast on TV, but I don't think One31 will do one, I've been their fan for years.
The history in this drama are almost fiction, the place names that smaller than Thailand are all fiction. It had…
You are the one who being so defensive first by caring so much about politics like that. I'm a carefree politics person, so I said it's not "weird political propaganda". But in your view, it is, even after I answered. Then I went to a conclusion that your question is just an useless question. I advised you that you should past it and enjoy the other things, you couldn't stand it. Then I followed that, changed the advice to not let you watch it. Because, you couldn't stood a small politics in just the first minutes like that means you won't stand the whole story. That's why you should drop it. You smelled "weird political propaganda" in this drama, then just stay away from it. It's your view, not my view or others' view. You asked that first question wanting to know others people's view, but you took our answers under your view. I used all my polite to answer your first question and you just being like a snowflake replied my answer, that made me feel so gross, too. Everyone here cares about the characters, music, photography, plot, and other things. Then, you just being here caring so much about... politics. With me, it's not a big deal. Should end the disscusion here. You are replying me like you want to win me about this topic, not like you wanting any advise. I accept my loose, you won. You can get more angry, gross as much as you want. I won't reply you anymore.
The history in this drama are almost fiction, the place names that smaller than Thailand are all fiction. It had…
Okay, if your view was like that, this drama is definetely not for you. You have the right to drop it without left any question. You shouldn't ask that question at the first place. Everyone here are enjoying it, so the problem is at your side, you need to ask yourself first.
I started watching the first episode and so far it seems like anti-communist, pro capitalist and monarchy propaganda…
The history in this drama are almost fiction, the place names that smaller than Thailand are all fiction. It had nothing to do with real life history and real life politics. The polictical elements are just like spices with the plot, it's not the main thing of the plot. So just don't take it as a big deal and just enjoy the BL contents, it's a worth watch.
About the premiere date, the timeslot is likely going to be 20:30 Mon-Tue. One 31 is rerunning a pretty long drama (The Lady and Her Lovers) this timeslot, so the timeslot won't be available for new shows in a time. With The Lady and Her Lovers' number of episodes, the possible premiere date for this show is this year's September 22. It could be sooner, maybe in early September, but September 22 is the latest day we will get this for sure.
It's a bit far from this moment, as August haven't even started, I think that's why they haven't gave us a clear premiere date yet. But the way they English subbed the trailer so fast and even created this show's own IG account show that they really care for this drama: https://www.instagram.com/loveinthemoonlight_th/ I'm glad everyone here are showing your care for it, too.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z01nvlctzlw The cast looks good, Mild and Kang Korn fit well in the younger casts. Of course, I'm looking forward to Aimm's first male lead performance the most, but See's character's anger everytime he appears looks fun as well.
Theme Song - Better Together - fellow fellow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBJf0slhj5A This is the first time I listen to this band's vocal, it's fine. The music not really stand out too much, but it's also not bad. We can accept it as a good track of One Music. And if you feel interested in the male lead like me, you can check his debut MV to see his very first acting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6dxyBH_N54
The name 9 Years of You, 9 episodes and starting June 9. It's fun to found more and more number nine in this. It's also the male lead's debut role and it's already a challenging role, a man passing through 9 years along with his love. We share the same birth year so I'm excited to see his performance there.
Yes, i watched episode 1 live and totally got your point. I could understand some simple phrases but had no idea about the context at all. So, I couldn't understand the story telling, characters' relationships and what they are doing. This is one of the dramas that characters talking is an important part for the world building, and subtitles are important with us for that reason. I'm glad it had subs in my language and I just rewatch the episode. The story is 10 times better than what I can understood at the first place.
It's really interesting to see the most innocent character in one the previous House series, House of Venom and the main antagonist of this time's House series, House of Flames played by the same actress. That's the reason I suspected Im at the first place. Im and Waen's character setting are rather the same. They're both the servant wifes, have sons and the most loved and trusted from their husbands, so I thought there must be something different between them that would happen later and I was right. If the producers want me to not suspect Im, they better chose a different actress to play her. Im went from Waen-type of character to a mix of Yok, Pin and maybe a bit of Tuptim-types of character is an interesting move. She learned the technique of the series and used it since the first episode. It's just me thinking one of Waen's costume design foreshadowed Im's costume in this show. Imagine if Im was in House of Venom, she can burns every toxic animals with her flames so easily.
Now we know it was Im, we can go a quick re-watch to see what happened. The most interesting thing I remembered is she led Kaewta and Malai to the trapped boat that she prepared so well without them knowing anything, this event also made them mistook Duean for years. She may also killed Duean's son in a hidden scene from episode 1. After that, she hid herself so well that I think the other characters are not that type of stupid characters we saw in the other series.
About Im's motivation, we still don't know, but there's my thought: All she wanted was preparing for Sin the best situation for inherit the house by removing all the other wifes one by one. Because after Sin get the power, she also get the power as well by being his mother. Phailin was the first target because she was the most powerful wife at that time. With episode 1's conflagration, she not only removed Phailin's power, but also killed Kaewta (only we know she was alive), killed Duean's son and also made Duean took all the suspects from others. After Duean took the power, she can't do something too big to get more attentions, she's somehow innocent but just do not want to lose the power that way. I think Duean not touched this topic again because Im removed her son, but also helped her gained the current power and she don't want to lose it. After that event, Im decided too chill down and started targeting Duean and Prasit by poisoning them with the toxic from the fire tree. Prasit's health was seen went down, with the scene of Kaewta, now Bunya tried to kill Duean, we also know her health went down, too. Im removing Duean because she's now the most powerful and Prasit because when he's dead, Sin will go straight to inherit the house by being his only biological son left. Prim and Phum are too weak to threaten Im at the present, but if they go deeper like Duang, I think they will also get the same ending. The summary I can write for this is Im are fighting for her son, that's why she hid herself so well in the first episodes. She doesn't want the power for herself, but she's thirst for her son to get that power. She suffered all this time was just for the time after Sin inherit the house, she would get the power she wanted.
Now the identity of Im got revealed officially, I'm waiting for Duean and Prim to become the Pin and Tuptim of this series to take a good revenge on her. I'm also seating for the official reveal with the main characters.
Yes, I thought the same thing about the culprit since episode 1 and seems like more people are getting it.
In episode 5, in one flashback scene, we can replay or slow motion to see Im's hairstyle where Phailin spotted the person in black clothes. Totally saw this coming so I'm seating for the official reveal in a future episode.
