I would highly really recommend The Story Of Ming Lan, it's a masterpiece for me.. Ming Lan is someone I want my daughter to see as a role model to learn, her character growth, her way of thinking and reasoning.. how she analyses people, situations and the world before her and also a bit of her imperfections..
XZ's reasoning for the black clothing reminds me of Ye Hua from TMOPB reasons for always wearing black.. also there was an episode where there was a close up on XZ's black robe, with its texture and patterns, and I cant help but see the similarity with YE Hua's.. + ZLY is so beautiful, especially in those close-up shots despite her age. I guess being a co-producer is a big perk on camera angles and editing, but damn! the close up on her eyes is just so hypnotic. First noticed her eyes as Shan-Shan.
+ River Of Forgetfulness Ritual is a good concept in this drama's context.
+ Modern Drama: Let the girl wear the man's shirt = sexy. Xianxia: SAME
+ DONT piss off an ill tempered but beautiful IMMORTAL. Learn Xing Yun's way of pacifying a pissed-off immortal, looks effective. Learn also Xing Yun's cute teases to make someone fall in love more deeply.
+ Having a very beautiful and bad-ass girl is not such a terrible idea in situations in which your about to be beaten to a pulp by bad guys. Just hope not to be on the receiving end of that temper. Double Edged Sword indeed, tread carefully if ever lucky enough to get one.

+ If given a chance to star in a cdrama, insist vehemently on being a "co-producer" so you have a stern say on how and what direction the drama will materialize. It seems ZLY has set a standard/ trend with regards to this among cdrama A-listers who has money & influence to do so.
+ When a big time cdrama actor or actress happens to seek my advice, cite this drama as an example about being a co-producer. When contradicted about this, point towards Dilraba's "Legend Of Anle" and how things might have been different with the finish product especially regarding CGI. Also say ZLY has to learn this the hard way with her "Legend Of Fei" which seemed to have pissed her off for days afterwards resulting to this drama setup.
+ Recruiting the original novelist or writer to the production team as a screenwriter is a good idea as well to dodge hot turds from fans, especially toxic netizens. Gu Man as screenwriter with YAMG needs to be cited about this. In a worst case scenario, when fans wants to hang you by the neck to the nearest electric pole because your the main lead, hire an army of internet trolls asap to say the original novelist/writer gave the green light to the changes. This will hopefully save your plumpy ass and someone else will be hanging on that pole instead of you.
+ Find time to learn the very fine art of subtle comedic mis-characterization. Example: Chicken is Phoenix and Phoenix is Chicken. Revisit LLTG's "Chicken is Duck and Rat is Rabbit" for additional research material.
+ Sidenote: Email Tencent before bed tonight to rename "Love Like The Galaxy" to "The Legend of Chicken and Rat. Start an online petition alongside the email to rename LLTG too, just in case Tencent ignores said email. The revised title is way better.
+ Check if the lakeside house of ancient god is the same location/province seen in Chef Huang and Love Me Love My Voice. Wonder how many movies & dramas have been shot here and how many I have seen.
