Just watch it! Sweet AND spicy ?
So refreshing! No annoying trope at all. The ML has been nothing but the sweetest, caring, unconditionally loving. BUT Don’t let that fool you coz THIS GUY CAN BE SUCH A FLIRT and a tease hehe. I was surprised to see the intimacy developing quite well after they became a couple (for a youth romance in short dramas). It felt just right, so refreshing from all the “jump right to ONS” as the first scene or torturing ones. While the fl was adorably shy, we had our ml gradually getting her comfortable and used to their physical intimacy. Oh and he would take every opportunity of passionate moments with her 😉Was this review helpful to you?
A rare Gem of a C-drama, breath of fresh air
I AM LOVING THIS ❤️❤️❤️ Started it just as a filler drama to pass time but I Already reached the last episode! (The first few episodes may be off-putting to some, understandably so. but if you give it some time, you won’t regret the watch ❤️)I appreciate all the aspects of this drama. The couple’s sizzling chemistry, BOTH of their personalities, their families, friends, the workplaces, the looks, outfits, OSTs, the longgg,, sweet chase that made me fall in love with the ml even more— every bit of this drama is truly a breath of fresh air. Such a gem is exceptionally rare for C-drama romances. If you had your unfortunate shares of experiences of C-dramas with draggy plots, misunderstandings, excessive dramas, problematic 2nd leads, childish themes, time-leaps, and an outrageously long list of disappointing tropes, you will understand why.
The ml’s unceasing love and affection for the fl is absolutely heart melting. He is WHIPPED whipped, enamored of our fl. And watching him do the sweetest, selfless, purest things for her is so endearing. He is just so soft for her and his actions towards her are an epitome of the word softness itself. The way he looks at her, the way he holds her, embraces her, gently kisses her forehead, speaks to her, reassures her, EVERYTHING is just so delicately pure. He is one of the greenest flags out there I would say. I love how his character was made and he pulled it off so well. He has that charm of a soft-spoken, respectful, mature CEO, but make no mistake, his girl is not to be messed with. Watch this drama to have your dose of sugars, beware though, you may develop a sweet-tooth.
As happy I am to have found this drama, I am also sad that it’s ending. I don’t know if I will find another C-dramas like this, I will be so happy if I do. Please recommend me if there are any that is close to this!

ML was loving, devoted, always has her back, and always ready to pounce too lol. It was my firs time watching this pair and first time watching the ML too. He seems fairly new and I can’t simply wait to watch more of his dramas, especially with this FL. Their chemistry can put your screens on fire. I’m hoping he gets good (AND STEAMY) plots so that we get our share of much needed HIM. His name is Du Xin Fei btw!
