This drama was so wholesome and heartwarming. It made me laugh, it made me cry multiple times. It was full of valuable life lessons. Almost all the characters were genuinely good people. Watching this was therapeutic for me. It reminded me why I love kdramas.
I finished this drama within a few days. I'm not sure what made it so addictive for me. Honestly, the drama wasn't even that great. lol Perhaps it was the actor's great performances that made me feel invested in their character's journeys. Idk. There was so much potential with that set-up. It's a shame that the writer didn't take full advantage of it.
I watched the original Japanese Drama long time ago and it is still haunting me till today, therefore, I will…
This drama isn't based on Byakuyakō. The two dramas have nothing in common other than the ML and FL meeting as children and the ML's father being a POS that brings pain to the female lead. The lead character is a police officer and the female lead is an actress in this drama. Neither of them kill anybody.
I love how patient and loving Ji Won. She doesn't push DHS for answers. She just let's him know that she'll be there for him whenever he's ready to talk. I like that she acknowledges how hard it must be for him to put on an act and only show/say what he wants others to hear. It's obvious her love for him runs deep.
The bathroom scene in episode 2 made me wonder if maybe Moon Chae Won's character has a dark side to her as well and that's why the male lead said that they're made for each other
Everybody needs a Ji Won in their lives.
