So Far FL only loves ML, she sees SML as her friend and ML also started realising his feelings if we don't have any nonsensical misunderstanding we may see them as a couple by the end of ep8 or Ep9

Imho it doesn't need second season him going to his daughter should've been good ending, But Netflix wants to milk from shows so they add those last 5 minutes unnecessary scenes if it's a hit they will extend it if not they will cancel it
