Overhyped but Fails to Deliver – A Huge Disappointment
When this series was first announced, I was genuinely excited and had high expectations. After all, it's a zombie drama, which is always an interesting genre, and Jisoo was part of the cast, making it even more exciting. Naturally, I was eager to see how the story would unfold. However, to my disappointment, the series completely failed to live up to my expectations. The biggest issue is the lack of a solid storyline. The plot feels weak and unstructured, making it difficult to stay engaged. There are hardly any thrilling moments that one would expect from a zombie drama. Instead of keeping me on the edge of my seat, it felt dull and predictable. The comedy, which could have been a saving grace, falls flat and doesn’t add any real entertainment value.
Another major drawback is the acting. While I was looking forward to Jisoo’s performance, I found it to be underwhelming. The emotions often felt forced, and the overall execution was cringeworthy at times. Additionally, the pacing of the series is painfully slow. The story drags on without any significant development, making it feel like a chore to watch.
Honestly, it felt like I was watching this drama only for Jisoo, hoping that it would get better, but unfortunately, it never did. I sincerely hope she improves her acting skills and chooses better projects in the future because she has the potential to do much better. This series, however, was a huge letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting zombie thriller.

Heavenly Ever After (2025) – A Beautiful Start Full of Emotions and Charm
I’m already loving *Heavenly Ever After*! After waiting for months, it finally aired—and it was totally worth it. The story is off to a touching, emotional, and hilarious start. The legendary *ajumma* (the older actress) never disappoints! Her acting is always so cute and heartwarming. I’ve loved her ever since I watched the movie *Mother*, and seeing her again feels like a warm hug. I was especially happy to see her reunited with Han Ji Min ,they were amazing together in *The Light in Your Eyes*, and I’m hoping for more of that beautiful bond in this drama too.
Also, it’s such a joy to see Son Suk Ku again! His chemistry with the *ajumma* as her younger husband is surprisingly sweet and refreshing. It’s a pairing I didn’t expect to love this much, but their scenes really shine.
These first two episodes are a perfect mix of emotions and laughter. I cried, I laughed, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next. This drama feels like it’s going to be something really special.
Edit:(ep 8/12)
I wrote the above review after watching just 2 episodes, but now that I’ve seen more…
The story has started to lose its charm. While the beginning felt emotional and fresh, the recent episodes feel repetitive and a bit dragged. Some plot points don’t add up, and a few scenes feel like fillers rather than real progress.
I was hoping Han Ji Min would have a strong presence, but sadly, her role feels more like a side character. She’s not getting the impactful screen time I expected, which is disappointing.
Overall, the drama had a beautiful start, but now it feels like it’s slowly going downhill. I’m still watching, hoping it picks up again—but it’s definitely not living up to the initial excitement.
Edit:(ep 12/12)
Not good as i expected 😕

My Dear Nemesis: The Drama That Has Me Counting Days for New Episodes!
It’s been a long time since I found a drama that made my heart race like this *My Dear Nemesis (2025)* is *that* drama! I started watching it purely for the main leads, not knowing what to expect from their chemistry, but wow—the chemistry is *chemicing* in all the right ways! Their interactions are filled with tension, playfulness, and just the right amount of romance to keep me hooked.Yes, it’s an office romance, and yes, it follows familiar tropes, but somehow, it still feels fresh, engaging, and absolutely binge-worthy. The witty dialogues, fun moments, and natural flow of the story make it impossible to stop watching. Every episode is a perfect mix of humor, romance, and light drama, keeping me entertained throughout.
I usually wait until a drama is fully released before writing a review, but I *just couldn’t wait* with this one! With only 6 out of 12 episodes out, I already know this is going to be one of my favorites. The wait for each new episode feels *way* too long, but that only proves how addictive it is. If you’re looking for an office romance that keeps you smiling and eagerly waiting for more, *My Dear Nemesis* is the one to watch!

Twinkling Watermelon – A Masterpiece That Shines with Every Emotion
“Twinkling Watermelon” is easily one of the best K-dramas I’ve ever watched – it’s a perfect blend of entertainment, laughter, emotions, and heartwarming messages, all without a single villain. It’s one of those rare shows that makes you cry like a baby and laugh like a hyena on a sugar rush. I binge-watched it and finished it in just 2 days – that’s how addictive it is!The plot is engaging from the very first episode, and the concept of time travel is handled beautifully. The casting is *chef’s kiss*. Choi Woon Shik literally stole the show – he’s so effortlessly funny and charming, I’ve officially made him my new crush! The actor who plays the son and time traveler is incredibly talented – he brings both humor and emotion in the most genuine way.
And the actresses? Both the teenage and adult versions of the deaf character were perfect.
Also, I have to mention the other girl who time-traveled – her role was a beautiful surprise! She was bubbly, cute, and added so much energy to every scene she was in. Her chemistry with the lead characters made the whole drama even more enjoyable. She brought so much color and charm to the story.
What truly touched me was the ending. Even though the son tried to change his father's fate, the story didn’t take the easy route of suddenly making him able to speak. Instead, they kept him deaf and showed how he still became successful and loved. That message – that people with disabilities can be just as successful and happy – was powerful, emotional, and inspiring.
In short, “Twinkling Watermelon” is a feel-good, funny, emotional gem that stays with you long after it ends. A must-watch for every K-drama lover!

Timeless School Action Drama: Weak Hero Class 1 (2022)
I watched *Weak Hero Class 1* right when it was released in 2022, and it instantly became one of my favorites. After recently finishing *Study Group*, it suddenly reminded me of this gem, so I had to come back and write a review. The fight scenes are *superb*—intense, raw, and brilliantly choreographed. The acting is top-notch, especially by the main lead **Park Ji-hoon**, who absolutely nailed his role with quiet intensity and emotion. Choi Hyun-wook and Hong Kyung (Choi Woon-sik) were also fantastic—every character felt real and memorable.
I went into this drama with zero expectations and came out totally impressed. It’s gritty, emotional, and powerful—a perfect blend of action and heart. If you haven’t watched it yet, you're missing out. A must-watch for fans of school action dramas!
Now I’m *seriously waiting for Season 2*—this story deserves to continue!

Underrated Gem Alert: Study Group (2025) Deserves More Hype!
I accidentally stumbled upon *Study Group (2025)* and ended up binge-watching the entire series—it’s *that* good! I had no idea it was released in January; I only found it in April, and now I’m wondering why it’s not as popular as other school dramas. Honestly, it deserves way more attention! The acting is solid, the story is gripping, and the fight scenes? Absolutely amazing. Each fight is choreographed so well—it never feels boring or dragged out. One thing I really loved was the background *rap music* during fights or intense moments—it adds so much energy and hype! It honestly made every scene feel 10x cooler.
It has the perfect blend of action, comedy, and emotional moments. If you loved *Weak Hero Class 1*, this one will totally be your vibe. I enjoyed every second and now I’m really hoping for a Season 2 because this story deserves to continue.
In short, *Study Group* is a hidden gem that every action-school drama fan needs to watch. Don’t miss it!

Unexpectedly Amazing – A Hidden Gem!
I started watching *Familiar Wife* (2018) randomly, without any expectations, but to my surprise, it turned out to be **one of my favorite dramas**! The storyline was so unique and heartfelt, making it an emotional yet engaging watch. The drama beautifully explores the concept of choices, fate, and how a single decision can change the course of life. The **chemistry between Ji Sung and Han Ji-min** was incredible—they portrayed their characters so naturally that I felt every emotion they went through. The way the drama blends romance, fantasy, and life lessons made it even more special.
One thing I loved the most was how relatable the characters felt. Their struggles, regrets, and emotional growth were portrayed so realistically that I couldn't help but connect with them. The **OST was soothing**, and the cinematography added depth to the story, making every scene visually appealing.
What makes *Familiar Wife* stand out is that it’s not just a love story; it’s about **personal growth, second chances, and realizing what truly matters in life**. By the end, I was left with so many emotions, and I couldn't stop thinking about it.
I never expected to love this drama so much, but it completely won me over. If you’re looking for a heartfelt, well-executed drama with deep emotions and a meaningful message, *Familiar Wife* is definitely worth watching!

The Best Period Drama Ever – A Timeless Masterpiece!
Oh my God! This is the **best period drama I have ever watched**, and I don’t think anything will ever come close to it. From start to finish, everything about *Alchemy of Souls* was **pure perfection**—the cast, the acting, the OST, the storyline, the cinematography, the editing, and even the graphics. Every single element was crafted beautifully, making it an unforgettable experience.I first watched this drama when it was released in 2022, and now, in 2025, I am finally writing this review. I don’t know why I took so long, but even after all these years, no period or modern drama has captured my heart the way *Alchemy of Souls* did. The storyline was **so unique and well-executed** that it kept me hooked from the very first episode. The characters were written so well, and their development throughout the series was truly remarkable.
One of the biggest highlights of this drama was the **male leads**, who completely stole my heart. Their performances were **breathtaking**, and their chemistry with the female leads was so strong that every scene between them felt magical. Even now, whenever I hear the OST, my heart still beats faster, reminding me of all the emotions I felt while watching the show.
And then there’s *Part 2*! I was eagerly waiting for it, and although the wait was around **six months**, it felt like an eternity. Every week, I looked forward to new episodes, and when *Part 2* finally arrived, it was just as beautiful and engaging as the first part. The way the story continued, the emotional depth, and the character arcs—everything was handled so well.
Even after all these years, I **still** wish I could erase my memory and experience this drama all over again, without knowing anything about the story. That’s how deeply *Alchemy of Souls* has impacted me. I miss 2022 so much—waiting for new episodes every week, discussing theories, and feeling all the emotions this drama brought. It was truly a **once-in-a-lifetime** experience, and I will always cherish it! 😭😭

A Disappointing Fantasy – Failed to Hook Me
I usually love **fantasy movies**, especially those with time-travel or body-swapping elements, but *Suddenly Seventeen* (2016) just **didn’t hook me** the way I expected. The concept was interesting, but the execution felt **flat and unengaging**, making it hard for me to stay invested in the story. The movie follows **Liang Xia (Ni Ni),** a 28-year-old woman who has spent years in a long-term relationship, hoping for marriage, but her boyfriend, **Mao Liang (Wallace Huo),** keeps delaying it. After feeling unfulfilled and heartbroken, she eats a **magic chocolate** that suddenly **transforms her back into her 17-year-old self.** This could have been a fun and meaningful journey of self-discovery, but instead, the plot felt **predictable and lacking depth.**
**(Spoilers ahead!)** One of the biggest issues I had was the way the movie **handled relationships.** While her 17-year-old self enjoys freedom and new experiences, she **starts developing feelings for a younger artist, Yan Yan (Darren Wang).** However, this romance feels **underdeveloped**, and the chemistry just wasn’t strong enough to make me care. At the same time, her older self struggles to deal with her past relationship with Mao Liang, leading to a **confusing mix of emotions** that never quite reach a satisfying conclusion.
The **ending felt frustrating.** Instead of offering a solid resolution, the story leaves things open-ended, with Liang Xia finally realizing she doesn’t need to depend on a relationship to be happy. While I appreciate the message of **self-love and independence**, the journey to that realization felt **slow and repetitive**, making the emotional impact weak.
The **fantasy element**—the magic chocolate—felt like a **lazy plot device** rather than an integral part of the story. It was never properly explained or explored, making it feel **gimmicky** rather than meaningful.
Overall, *Suddenly Seventeen* had an **interesting premise**, but the **slow pacing, lack of emotional depth, and weak romantic subplots** made it a **disappointing watch.** I expected something **heartfelt and magical,** but instead, it felt **forgettable** and failed to leave a lasting impression.

A Powerful Sequel That Hits Hard
Weak Hero Class 2 delivers top-notch performances just like Season 1. Park Ji-hoon especially shines — it truly feels like he was born to play Si-eun. The new characters are also very impressive, adding even more depth to the story. The villain Baek Jin was simply amazing. His acting was absolutely incredible. I loved his character so much — powerful and terrifying at the same time. The final fight scenes were jaw-dropping — everyone acted so realistically, especially Baek Jin and Park Ji-hoon. It really looked like they had been beaten up for real — that’s how intense their performances were!
When Choi Woon-sik's character came back later in the story, I couldn’t hold back my tears. I truly wish Si-eun will avenge him for everything that happened. I am really hoping for a Season 3 that mixes the stories and characters from both seasons.
However, honestly, I was not as excited for the next episodes in this season like I was in Season 1. In Season 1, I didn’t even skip a single scene or dialogue because it was that gripping. But in this season, there were a few parts where I skipped some scenes. Also, I felt the car accident scene was unnecessary — I didn’t really understand the reason for adding it. It broke the flow for me a little. I still miss the deep vibe and emotional intensity of Season 1 🥲.
Season 2 is outstanding in terms of performance, OST, character development, acting, and villains. But Season 1 has a different, irreplaceable magic that no sequel can replace.
Also, I was so happy to notice a small reunion from Twinkling Watermelon father and son🥰

A Mind-Blowing Drama – Completely Changed My View on Game-Based Stories
I was never really a fan of **game-based dramas**, so I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy *Memories of the Alhambra* .But to my surprise, this drama **completely changed my perspective!** It was **so hooking, intense, and unpredictable** that I couldn't stop watching. The combination of **sci-fi, mystery, romance, and action** was executed brilliantly, making it one of the most unique dramas I’ve ever seen. The story follows **Yoo Jin-woo (Hyun Bin)**, a CEO who gets involved in an augmented reality (AR) game that starts blurring the lines between reality and virtual space. The way the AR elements were blended into real life was **so well done**—from sword fights appearing out of nowhere to characters being "stuck" in the game, every moment kept me on edge!
**(Spoilers ahead!)** One of the most **shocking** twists was when **Cha Hyung-seok (Jin-woo’s former friend) dies because of the game**, and suddenly, Jin-woo realizes that **players can actually die in real life if killed in the game!** From this moment on, the drama takes a **dark and intense** turn, as Jin-woo desperately tries to find the missing game creator, **Jung Se-joo** (Park Chan-yeol), who mysteriously vanished after launching the game.
The **romance between Jin-woo and Hee-joo (Park Shin-hye)** was subtle but emotional. Hee-joo’s unwavering support for Jin-woo, despite not fully understanding the game’s dangers, made her a strong and likable character. But what truly made this drama unforgettable was the **ending.** It left us with **so many questions**—Jin-woo disappears into the game, and we never fully know if he survives or if he becomes part of the virtual world!
The **cinematography, graphics, and music** added to the drama’s immersive experience. The stunning locations in Spain, the thrilling action sequences, and the eerie yet beautiful OST made it **feel like a movie rather than just a drama.**
Overall, *Memories of the Alhambra* was **a masterpiece**—it kept me on edge with its twists, made me emotional with its characters, and most importantly, **turned me into a fan of game-based dramas!** If you’re looking for something **thrilling, unique, and thought-provoking,** this drama is an absolute **must-watch!**

A Heartwarming Masterpiece – Way Beyond My Expectations
I started watching *Crash Course in Romance* (2023) just for the **male lead**, but by the time I finished, I had become the **biggest fan of the female lead and the story itself!** This drama is an absolute gem—**warm, emotional, funny, and deeply touching.**Jeon Do-yeon completely stole the show with her incredible performance. Her portrayal of a strong yet kind-hearted woman was **so natural and inspiring** that I couldn't help but admire her. Her chemistry with Jung Kyung-ho was **pure magic**—their relationship felt **real, mature, and beautifully developed.** I never expected to get so emotionally invested in their journey, but it turned out to be **one of the most heartwarming love stories I’ve ever seen!**
Beyond the romance, the drama delivers a **beautifully written story** filled with **family love, personal struggles, and unexpected friendships.** It perfectly balances lighthearted moments with emotional depth, making every episode **engaging and meaningful.** The supporting characters, the high school setting, and the deeper themes of **academic pressure and societal expectations** made the drama even more impactful.
The cinematography, OST, and direction all added to the charm of this drama. Every scene felt **so well-crafted**, and the emotions were conveyed beautifully. By the end, I was completely hooked and didn’t want it to end!
What started as a simple watch for the **male lead** turned into an **unforgettable experience**, making me fall in love with **the female lead, the story, and the message it carries.** *Crash Course in Romance* is **a must-watch**—a drama that leaves you with a **warm heart and a lasting impression!**
