I absolutely agree. I’m watching it on Viki and the amount of people bashing jiang Mu is insane. She is always the one to initiate from the start. He cut her off completely not once but twice. Yes I understand that he didn’t want to burden her and to make himself worthy of her, but he’s now established and yet he never reached out.

I have always thought that Esther had the best chemistry with Dylan Wang. But then this came along and I’m like move over DongFang Qing Cang ….

I never thought a scene of the leads holding hand can convey so much. There was unsure hesitancy from Jin Zhao, to when MuMu assuring him that it’s ok, and finally him gripping her hand like she was his lifeline. So beautifully done. I almost cried.

Actually it could have had people found out about it. It would make the Shens look like a bunch of fools. No one would want to entrust their business with them if they are so easily fooled by one woman….That’s not to say SHM is blameless. He is far more manipulative.
