Wuyi and Jiayu has the best chemistry I've seen in cdrama. Their characters are very likable as well, yet heartbreaking.…
I agree! Become one of my favourite couples! Even without the grand gestures and passionate kiss scenes - their love and feelings were executed so well. Love how mature and healthy their relationship is. Can’t help but root for them!
The conversation between wuyi and jiayu from 19:36 to 23:10 was so emotional
Very steady and mature love. Love seeing a couple who communicates. And the way XJY didn’t hold it against him. She understands him more than anyone and is embracing it with such grace, while making the most of their time together. But still heartbreaking because you can see much she fears losing him, while he desperately wants to live to be with her :(
I don’t understand Li Mao. He is constantly changing. Is this all an act from him? Is he secretly plotting something…
I did see a spoiler somewhere - probably from the ending where XJY bids Li Mao farewell as she goes off to find XWY. Li Mao didn’t look angry, and let her go knowing he cannot keep her. So maybe he doesn’t actually turn evil in the end? I dunno which route they are trying to take his character
Even though XJY is young, she is mature and wise beyond her years. I love the way they are so well matched. The way they see, hear, and understand each other’s hearts. The way they love each other. The way XWY gives XJY the space and freedom of making her own decisions and living her life. The way XJY embraces the little time they have together with grace and wholeheartedly supports XWY. The way they held onto each other was so heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time. The actors delivered it again! I know there are ppl (myself included) concerned about the age gap mainly because AiMi was underage but I cannot help but be in awe with the chemistry and professionalism the two have. There are no kiss scenes or grand gestures but I felt so much more depth and tension between the two! Kudos to HMH and AiMi!
I don't know if it's because I've seen the actor playing FL's dad as a bad guy somewhere else, but to me his looks…
I can’t seem to take him seriously haha he has more of a modern look for a historical costume series (not a bad thing) and looks like someone who would be in a romcom
Only 6 ep left 😭💔Sad we are only getting 1 ep tomorrow but I’m still excited
I skimmed through the eps and didn’t expect to enjoy it this much - love when a drama proves me wrong. So decided to start from the beginning because it looks worthwhile. Sad it’s only 28 eps
I'm in awe of what these two created on-screen. The director's remarks at the live event no doubt shocked, but…
Totally agree! HMH has become an expert acting with his eyes! So many emotions yet nothing needed to be said at all. I want to acknowledge how Ai Mi was equally good. Despite being younger, she delivered the scene beautifully and I can see they really brought it out from each other. The sincerity and professionalism was amazing! Even without skinship, I felt more love and tension than some other onscreen couples in other dramas!
Saw a clip of today’s episode and am impressed by both actors! The way they conveyed their emotions, the chemistry so good! An example where good acting and chemistry are all that is needed for romance. The anticipation and the longing gazes created more tension than some kiss scenes I’ve scene.
I heard Ai Mi is a child actor? But I am still impressed by how natural she is, a promising future for sure!
Why did XWY decide to confess his feelings now? I am probably missing the details but as someone who never cared…
In a way it’s been a long time considering he was in love with her from first sight?? Sometimes I have to rewatch earlier scenes to see when he fell in love lol
The drama really doesn’t waste time! Been skimming through the eps just to see how it is and I think I may have…
Why did XWY decide to confess his feelings now? I am probably missing the details but as someone who never cared to explain to others, it felt sudden the way he wanted to verify if she was relieved he wasn’t the culprit for her mom’s death. He has been holding back his feelings because of his best friend so what changed?
Side note, HMH’s gaze is way to strong how can anyone resist?! He can look in love with a wall if he wanted to haha - helps to have expressive eyes as an actor
