Catching up on the latest set of episodes and I have just finished episode 9 one thing that made me so happy amongst all of the angst was how supportive Sasin's friends were I did not expect anything less from them but I was so happy
I feel like the final episode really needed to be longer because why was it Shen Shao You was on death's door and then all of a sudden we have jamp 3 years into the future lol and what do you mean we didn't get to see the Hua Yong and Shen Shao You wedding and while I was not the biggest fan of Shen Wenlang and Gao Tu their fans must be so disappointed there was no resolution for them at all i don't know if a season 2 is on the card but I really hope we get a special episode or something
Wait has this series finished MDl had this listed as 12 episodes for the longest time and I just realised they have changed it to 10? episode 10 did feel like a final episode but I remember the Thai series also had a special episode so thought maybe that was why this show had 12 episodes to adapt that as well...
I love that Sasin fully realised he is in love with Saenkaew and went for it, I am glad he finally caught up with the rest of us we all knew him trying to stop the wedding wasn't all just about protecting Pin lol
Honestly I think the flashbacks between Odajima and Asahi are my favourite thing about this series I like in a world so dark they had each other I for sure think Odajima was in love with him but I don't get the feeling Asahi felt the same way or even knew anything about Odajima's feelings
I am glad more people are talking about the grandmother's acting for the first few episodes I genuinely thought they had hired a young person to pretend to be old and that is why the acting was so off then I looked up the actress and she is actually 61 so now I have no idea at some of her bizarre acting choices lol I have such conflicting feeling's about this series because this more of a Lakorn we have to deal with all the usual Lakorn tropes especially the insufferable family members but the tension between Saenkaew. and Sasin is so strong it is worth it for them and their romance lol
Overall I liked this show it was cute and the characters were really likeable but I still wish we had gotten more on the romance front even at the end I still wasn't convinced that any of them were in a romantic relationship with KitaKun also i feel like the plotline of Nishino liking Minami just got completely abandoned which I was sad about because I think them also turning romantic would of been really interesting
Honestly why couldn't the rest of the series of been like the last two episodes there was just something different in the air I was actually so shocked that we got a decent kiss scene after that weird angle kiss their first one was lol
I was reluctant to start this because I know the Japanese adaption of Love In The Air got pretty negative reviews so I never got around to watching that one but I decided to give this one a watch and you know now that we are 8 episodes in and so close to wrapping up unpopular opinion maybe but I think I might be enjoying this adaption more than the thai one
The first episode was fine I definitely started to enjoy it more as the episode went along I really like Parn as an actress I haven't watched her in anything since Summer Night so I enjoyed seeing her again and obviously I loved seeing Nani back High School Frenemy feels like so long ago now lol
I always go into special episodes with zero expectations and you know what I was very pleasantly surprised with the first episode it was so good Boat and Oat really do have some of the best chemistry in the Thai BL scene at the moment so I love seeing them back I had many issues with My Stubborn the main show but their chemistry was not one of them so I will never complain about getting to see them back
I think this show is fine if you just want something easy to watch to pass 20 minutes and I really like the concept but the two leads don't really have any chemistry which sucks so far I think Secret Relationships and Ball Boy Tactics have been the only two KBL's I have really liked this year
What a gut punch this episode was Apo is really out doing himself in this show like the whole cast are great but this really is his show, also in a little bit of light relief I always love seeing JJay on screen you can tell he was having the time of his life filming this show lol
You know what this show is fun and I enjoy it a lot but having watched so far 9 episodes their relationship with Kita-Kun still lacks any real depth obviously I know there is a backstory with Kita to be revealed but he is so passive I am still like does he really have any serious feeling's for the trio or is he very much just going with the flow I'm glad that at episode 9 they were finally starting to ask that question as well
Did not think I was ever going to see a danmei with this many kisses in my lifetime I know there was Meet You At The Blossom last year but unless I am misremembering I think they only kissed once maybe twice? did not think I was going to see an ancient drama with such an intense romance story
Episodes 5 and 6 was really just watching the crown prince make stupid decision after stupid decision knowing that Shu He becomes emperor I am guessing the crown prince is living on borrowed time but it didn't need to be that way the people he treats as his enemies probably would of been his strongest supporters...
