So funny to see everyone say Sheng Shao You knows the truth when he still kind of only knows part of it he currently believes that Hua Yong is also an S tier Alpha not an Engima so I am curious if Hua Yong will tell the truth or if this will be another lie he tells and we just have to wait for the WHOLE truth to come out
I think with a bunch of uncensored cdrama's coming out this one perhaps got forgotten about because I feel like I see no one talk about this which sucks because this series is actually really good despite the episodes being under 20 minutes I actually think they told a really good story and the cast were all really solid I completely bought into the two leads.
Episodes 3 and 4 have me completely sold on this drama the tension between the two leads was so good these episodes, I know he has his loyalty or whatever he has to the crown prince but I am definitely getting vibes between Huo Ying and the doctor
Okay so the first two episodes have me intrigued I think slightly to early to judge because these two episodes were clearly all about setting things up but off the bat I thought the chemistry between the leads was good, my only slight concern is finding out this series is only 12 episodes especially with it looking like the episodes will be 30-35 minutes so I hope they don't have to rush things to much
I am so curious about what role Bright would of played if he had been in this season like would the storyline of been completely different or if they would of worked him into this story somehow Anyway this series was so good I do think the villain reveal at the end was pretty predictable but I didn't mind the execution of it so I still enjoyed it lowkey wish Namtan had been in the show longer though I feel like we have barely seen her act this year lol
Honestly I still find it so hard to root for Hua Yong and Sheng Shao You when we have seen Hua Yong bring nothing but misery for Shao You in 9 episodes :/
One thing I do appreciate is that they have toned down the GL couple alot in the Thai version Fumi's counterpart especially was far to childlike I like that in this version they feel like actual adults here
Really think this series might be the first 10/10 I give this year because so far I have zero flaws with it, it is really firing on all cylinders for me obviously I know gmmtv don't have a great track record when it comes to finales so it might fall apart at the very end but I really don't think it will I am curious if they potentially might set up a possible Enigma 3 or if they will stop at the 2 I think the series and WIn are popular enough to do a third one
It is so interesting to me that people read Victor's look at the end as jealousy because it didn't read like that to me at all to me it was more him figuring out the actual type of relationships that Trin and Tanwa have like I feel like he is going to use this against them some point in the story but maybe I am wrong and it was jealousy lol Flirting via library books one of the greatest things I ever seen also you know the one thing a BOC production is going to do is eat up a NC scene I wish more companies would take notes because most of the time NC scenes are so awkward and/or cringe lol
Yes in the novel, he is not painted in a favourable light. He changes because he falls in love with HY.
See I kind of wish the series had portrayed it more of that way as well because so far at least I don't think he has done anything that terrible to warrant all of the manipulation
I really feel for SSY sometimes because everyone is really playing him for a fool I don't know if in the novel he is portrayed differently and maybe paints him more in a bad light but in the series I always end up feeling sorry for him like Hua Yong really be pushing boundaries sometimes if not all of the time lol
I really didn't understand why the Wang brothers came back into the story their arc felt complete like YueYue's return made sense because Chi Cheng had still not learned the truth this return felt unneeded outside of that though the final scene between Chi Cheng and Suo Wei was very painful keeping everything crossed we finally get to see a happy ending in a CBL lol
As I really don't want to say goodbye to this cast just yet, is there any of their previous acting projects that anyone would recommend I know the actor who plays Xiaoshuai was in another BL earlier this year so that is on my watch list but is there anything else these guys have done that is worth a watch?
I only knew of Mint before for being Neo's girlfriend but she is a damn good actress considering this is her first major role she is killing it as Myday I hope we get to see her in more projects in the future
This episode really felt like the end of Wang Shou's arc and I for one am so glad because he doesn't half annoy me obviously I know he is relevant to the plot but unlike Yueyue who annoys me in a fun kind of way Wang Shou just annoys me and it is not fun, Usually I don't really notice the editing but episode 18 felt really choppy in some places I feel like they must of cut a couple of scenes
Anyway this series was so good I do think the villain reveal at the end was pretty predictable but I didn't mind the execution of it so I still enjoyed it lowkey wish Namtan had been in the show longer though I feel like we have barely seen her act this year lol
