This series I know is for sure not going to be for everyone because it deals with very serious subject matters and is a really intense watch but it is just so well made this probably won't be a series I ever rewatch because it is so tough to watch but I am glad I watched it once
I just know that War is having the time of his life with this role man 3 episodes and this series is on a roll honestly this is already such a strong contender for best BL of the year
This series is really starting to do Star so dirty these last few episodes it feels like she exists to be Lune's girlfriend and nothing else I feel like even Ivy was more involved in the conflict than what she was also having that plot with Nana being the way the group reconcile was an interesting choice to say the least....
I have only seen bits of the original so I don't have any sort of attachment to it which maybe makes this series easier for me to enjoy as I have really enjoyed the first two episodes and considering the cast is so young I think they are doing a really good job I mean I have seen alot worse acting in BL's from actors that are much older than these lot, maybe once this series has finished I will go back and watch the original version completely, will be interesting as a 2024 watcher how the two shows compare
When I watch a sukfilm production I don't expect amazing storytelling what I expect is someone cheating and really good kisses and that is exactly what they served while I would say Bad Guy is still probably my favourite of their stories I have watched this was very entertaining purely for the mess involved
This series is so good nobody does the darker type of BL's quite like Japan this story really is a tale of two broken people coming together I think the downside of a JBL is most of them are only 20-25 minute long episodes but I do think despite the limited runtime this series has alot of depth to it
I am sorry it has been 7 episodes Lune is such an insufferable character I have tried to like him I really have but I find it so hard to root for him I think the only scenes I slightly like him is I do think Phuwin and Parn have chemistry so their scenes are cute but Lune as a character omg... also LookJun and Dunk are a paring I would never of put together but something about them just works imo WhiteIvy are really stealing the show for me
While the acting is pretty stiff from most of the cast I am still engaged maybe it is the nostalgia of Skam but I am invested in the messiness I can already sense will happen I also love femaie friendships especially when they are messy
I will admit it has been a good few years since I watched Skam but everything about this first episode felt like the Korean version of Skam lol I wonder why they went back on saying it was a remake when it clearly is maybe they have changed something significant story wise that isn't in the original series and that is how they got away with saying it wasn't a remake
This series started off really strong but when the whole love triangle stuff got so much attention in the middle half of the series it did really start to drag which is disappointing because I really do think this had the potential to be one of gmmtv's best I still had a good time with Off as Jane being the biggest standout but it really is a lot of lost potential
I haven't watched unintentional love story yet but I came across a clip of these two on X so I felt like I had to watch this and this was so good these two actors have insane chemistry I really enjoyed myself as painful as the ending was. Also I didn't really feel like I needed to watch ULS to understand this one. Question though I know these two are just a side couple in ULS but do they get much screentime?
Bas is an insane actor his performance in this finale literally had me sobbing what raw emotion this cast is so talented but his work as Korn really has been one of the standouts Overall I really loved that finale I do think some things were a little rushed but I expected that anyway I think pretty much all of the endings make sense for the characters
I feel like if this aired to a larger audience Daeyoung would be one of the most hated men in BL lol I think about how much hate Top got in only friends and that is nothing compared to what Daeyoung has been getting up to in this series lol
Now that we are a day away from the finale I have suddenly become very nervous like what if the ending is bad I think bible has already said it will be an open ending which worries me but please just wrap up the stories well
I just feel like keeping the relationship a secret now just feels cruel I understood when Star wanted to protect Ivy's feelings but she knows now, like Star being all buddy with Sera knowing she is dating her ex who Sera clearly has feelings for gives me the ick like yes Lune isn't required to still like her but they should at least be honest with her :/ also White didn't react badly when he learned about Ivy's feelings so at least if he knew the truth they could all move past it and move on Also the way people have been talking about the kitchen scene I was really expecting some +18 related content💀I do though agree that it felt to soon for them to have sex for the first time considering they are both still what 15/16 and have not been together that long I know in some teen shows that is the norm but this show is pretty tame I think that is why it felt a little out of place also the fact there was no follow up or mention of them being intimate for the first time was really jarring
I can't believe this series wasted all that time on the Bahmee/Tae/Judy stuff just for Bahmee and Tae to go back to pretty much how they were in episode 1 what was the point sidelining Offgun for most of the series to give us this nonsense
Omg first episode was so good YinWar were already good before but they have improved so much since Love Mechanics I knew I was going to be impressed but even I am shocked at how much I loved this first episode, only 1 episode down and I already feel like this is going to be a strong contender for BL of the year
Fuaiz is such a talent for only being 18 like damn Tonkla is such an complex character to play and I think he has done amazingly I mean in fairness the whole cast has killed it this series but for someone so young he has been able to keep up with the rest of the cast no problem This series has honestly been such a thrill to watch I am so sad that next week it will be over I know people have their issues with BOC but they really do serve when it comes to their shows
also having that plot with Nana being the way the group reconcile was an interesting choice to say the least....
