The #1 reason NOT to watch dramas while they're airing is the interminable wait for subs. This is not a problem…
I was going to say this exact thing. If there's something I do not do with jdramas anymore is watch them as they air, I've been left hanging so many times with dramas that never got subbed completely that I don't want it to happen again.

Man, I sure loved Moon Child back in the day, I remember Kanata Hongo was in it and he was so tiny. How time passes. I remember I was surprised Akira didn't get the lead in Be Crazy About Me, but maybe I was biased because I love her a lot.

So, 12 years after Nobuta, Yamapi and Kame are coming back with a drama and a single and Maki is retiring for family. If that doesn't say gender gap I don't know what does. Thanks for putting the equality issues on the article, as well as pointing out the stalking. I hope she made the right choice, but the marriage seemed sketchy since the start. I just wish her the best.

I thought "A Girl & Three Emotionally Abusive Men" was pretty awful, but the other winners I can…
"A Girl & Three Emotionally Abusive Men" bless your soul, I'll call it that from now on.

Don't forget 35-sai no Koukousei and Kamen Teacher and My Boss My Hero ^^
I don't think I've ever laughed with a drama as much as I did with My Boss My Hero omg

I love school dramas, but I need some new ones!! those are classics, but I need something fresh!
I agree with NanaChin, Omotesando Koukou Gasshoubu is really good

I'd also suggest Tumbling and Rookies if you want good school dramas centered on sports and, from the latest ones, Omotesando Koukou Gasshoubu is pretty darn good.

Thank you for this article! I'll miss them so much together but I completely understand that after Michi, it was a logical decision from them to make, regardless of what people say about age and superfluous things like that. I also really liked Monsters with Shingo, it was very entertaining, and every KimuTaku drama is priceless (pun intended). Thanks again for this fantastic article!

My favorite thing about this drama is that, even if there's love triangles involved, women are never spiteful towards each other for no reason and actually talk about things other than the men they're in love with, to the point that they all recognize they could be good friends. Even the main character's relationship with her workmates, which starts being strained because of their age difference, leads to very nice story lines of relationship development between them. For a romance drama, there's a really nice handle of female characters and they don't demonize any of them, to me that was SO refreshing.

but WHY isn't FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON nominated??? Not even once?? It was an AMAZING drama
I agree, I thought the same thing when I saw the nominations page, the huge delay in the subs made a difference in that case imho

WARNING If you plan to watch this drama, dont do it on Dramanice.tv, The episodes from 6 onwards is in the wrong…
This happened to me as well, I think from episode 8 onwards, they may have fixed 6 and 7 but it's still wrong after that. Thankfully I realized a couple minutes in but it was already too late and I got pretty spoiled too.
