Not only that, she was smoking and doing the craziest things while pregnant, she resented being pregnant. They really were not on the same page, that’s why that last convo was so good she lost all power over him in that moment.

I fully bought into jeong won as a character tbh. I liked how gong yoo portrayed his anxiety, the trauma bonding, him slowly making decisions for himself when he gained a little independence, him falling in love 🙂‍↕️

I think it’s the fact that In Ji showed him kindness and that he *noticed* In Ji. The ex wanted complete control over him so even her bringing In ji back into his life was a power play and continued manipulation.

Dare I say one of gong yoos best kdrama performances 🙂‍↕️ 9/10 so many crazies I was worried for a sec but I’m satisfied with the ending 🩵

I’m on ep 5 right now oooh this is my kind of drama, if you like a moody, slow burn, intense drama where the characters are all slightly unhinged, romance is a main plot, and there are secrets unravelling as the story goes on, I recommend 🙂‍↕️ not the type of show I can binge tbh 1. The episodes are long 2. The story telling is very chill and deliberately slow, so imo why rush my watching 🤷🏽‍♀️ i really enjoy off beat stories with a cliche plot line, I’d say this is in the same vein as the atypical family (just darker and more grounded)

I loved the ML in Meet yourself and loved the FML in Remembrance of the things past so for both to be together in this slice of life healing drama is like the ultimate gift! Loved the first 8 episodes, it was funny, it was sad, it was poignant, it was warm. I can’t wait for the next episodes 🤗

Sadly lost interest in this one around halfway I might’ve continued if it was centred around the MLs but I don’t find this particular family dynamic (domineering mother) fun or interesting to watch 🤗

The fml is stronger than me because if YZM looked at me with those eyes I would be like yes whatever you say cutie pie 😭

Their relationship would be so much more healthier if everyone around her stopped enabling her, I really hope the next few episodes explore this

I agree tbh when I say from care I mean she starts out thinking “I want the best for my kids” “I want to offer help” etc but it falls flat when you don’t ask people what they actually want and when you think their feelings don’t matter compared to yours. She’s very self centred and she’s justifies it with her “mother” title. So the kids can’t say anything because they love her and instead of acknowledging that she uses it to make them feel smaller.

I lowkey feel bad for YZM because he has no clue that sometimes no family is better than a toxic one 😭 imagine he became poor or sick overnight? It’s over for him

The main girl is definitely a doormat how is she letting her subordinates talk to her like that? Establish your professionalism girl sigh

Ep 21, The mom is such a relentlessly unhinged character, she never rests and never takes a day off pushing peoples boundaries 😭 how are you gonna get annoyed at your daughter for finding you YOUR own place because you want to freeload off of someone else to maintain a nonexistent image of richness?? Make it make sense. Once again probs to her kids for turning out the way they did, it’s a miracle

I understand that all her actions start out being from care but her actions are so disrespectful, hurtful and damaging that intention do not matter in her case. This is twisted love at its core.
