Oh my god! The after credit scene?!? My heart cannot handle it. I think that Shu Yi's father forced Shi De to stop contact with him. The father probably used a mix of threats and then convinced She De that it was better for Shu Yi. The father may have also told She De to make himself a worthy partner for Shu Yi in these 5 years and then come back. Something like that.
Although, does it make me a horrible person that I feel like this is an opportunity for Shu Yi to prove his love? She De loved Shu Yi for such a long time and was patiently always there loving him and fighting for him. Maybe this is Shu Yi's chance to do the same. I would love that as a second season.
I am really frightened though that season two will just be full of them lashing out at each other, jealousy, misunderstandings, etc. I don't want those drama tropes to ruin what was such a beautiful show.
