Episode 22 is the best episode so far, no time wasted, a lot of very funny moments that I enjoy good laughs. Looking forward to the next episode to see how ML and FL relationship progress because it seem that they have decided to be happy at the moment and not think about their circumstances that put them off in their relationship. The children here are so good in acting.
Unpopular opinion, I will post my thoughts as a spoiler below as a reply, from what I understood about this drama
So basically the story is set around 20 years later after DJ’s death, which is the present.
HW tried his best as SY’s employee based on those lines that every employee should do what they are told without question but ultimately was betrayed. He was saved by SMY prosecutor at the point after he was shot as she mentioned. HW was in a coma for about a week in the hospital.
While he wasn’t in his consciousness. This week gave him 17 years of lifetime as he relived his life in DJ’s. HW thought he was dead, and wasn’t sure the reason why he became DJ. But he accepted the fact that he was given another chance to be alive to change things even if he is another person now, but at least he is reborn in a rich family. He used all his present knowledge to his advantage as he grow up as DJ and strategise on his revenge to the SY family. He was eventually murdered upon his succession to SY
HW woke up in the present. Nothing much has changed from the history he knew and the history of the present. DJ was already gone in the present, and he will still be, back when HW become DJ. He realised that he remembered he was a witness to DJ’s death now, which he forgot as it has been 20 years and ever since he has been telling himself those SY employee loyalty line to hypnotise himself which is probably why he didn’t rmb about DJ.
DJ died unfairly as the people involved still continue to lived well these 20 years. HW realised he is a witness because he as DJ, saw the real him, HW as the last man before DJ’s death. Eventually he think back on why he became DJ, and that is to repent - Repent for DJ whom death was unfairly covered, repent for himself because he was the one who is the key player to have spoke the truth but decided to cover for his future as an employee in SY.
Certain plot holes that people are confused about includes why DJ and HW look the same but nobody know or suspect anything. The reason is because they are meant to be different people but portrayed by the same actor. There is no way an actor can look different aesthetically biologically to act as 2 different people unless they are different actor. But then again, it wouldn’t have been the same as reborn again if it’s not the same actor whom seemingly died and then subsequently relived a different life, correct? 1 main thing why I know they are meant to look different is because HW saw that it wasn’t him as a child in the car reflection when he was “reborn” as DJ. And because he was HW, obviously he would recognise himself even when he is DJ because that was who he was in the present even though it wasn’t him when he is living as DJ. But the truth is, in the present, HW is HW and DJ is DJ, but miracle happened that HW is reliving as DJ of the past up to the present which made HW understand about DJ’s past prior to his death more. HW previously mentioned he didn’t know anything much about 4-2, but as DJ, now he knows.
This is fictional which don’t make sense, but if you think a little harder, you will slowly understand the plot. Mr Ha’s alcoholic dementia in how he can recognise HW as DJ is of the vibe, like how SMY later came to realise that there is similarity of DJ in HW back in the present. To HW, he is HW and DJ, but to the others, they only know who is DJ, and not so much on HW. The justice is ultimately for DJ. Who tried to kill HW then? The answer was answered by DJ when he said the person whom kill DJ is the same as the one whom kill HW. The attempt of Grandma didn’t kill anyone actually as they are only injured so Grandma is not the true main killer they trying to depict here but an extra to the plot line to make things interesting.
The main plot hole here is also they used the same actor and actress whom look like they don’t change and they don’t age when they are in their 20-40s, that’s also probably why we got confused in the timeline because the HW and SMY in their 40s in the present look pretty much the same as when they are in their 20s when HW relived as DJ or even saw himself as HW prior to DJ’s death.
Happy ending for everyone, even for the QD whom chose her own way which she decided to end her own life but with the royal "position" she wanted to have and protect the most.
Lovely scene for CP and CPrincess. I like how their relationship develop to be more physical and intimate, where CP become more vocal and initiative. They did a real kiss now and not a sensored cut off flashback, lovely! The checklist was so modern though LOL.
I also like how they use the drawing of the birds as reference of GP Gyeseong not being able to spread her wings to be free, to be herself which she will be able to do so as she manage to leave the palace. The height of CP shows that he fits so well to be the Eldest among the 4 brothers cause he was like their Umbrella when they had a Bros-Hug <3
CP has confirmed that he just wanted to be his Nephew's Umbrella. His Nephew eventually will be the King. The way he holds the Umbrella for his Mother, Queen, and then the Queen holds the Umbrella for her Grandson, the Grand Heir whom will eventually be the new King (which we don't see) at the ending scene, I thought it was what they have been doing so far to protect.
Lovely drama that I felt it was enjoyable to watch in every episode that I don't feel my time wasted. A recommend watch yet I feel I will rewatch this just because it is really good. Of course if someone were to nitpick it's not perfect, but to me it is. <3

The king's main weakness is how he was crowned for the throne.
Most of the corrupted Ministers work with QD to put him into the position. But ironically, QD became QD only because her son was the King, but nobody mentioned to her on how she got her position except for 1 Minister, yet the Minister and QD keep mentioning how they put the King to the throne whenever the King does what he want and not follow what QD/the Ministers' idea
Other than that, he might be weak to fighting, but he does his role as a King quite well and intelligently most of the time besides being clouded in judgment if the incident involves the history of how he became the King which he wanted to hide.

I don't want her to die so easily, I want her to be tortured till her last catch of breath and rot in prison so that she can understand she shouldn't take the lives of others so easily as if her life is so important that she can step on others or even "kill" others with her power.

It's confirm game over for Consort Hwang's family. A little sad she was used by the man she actually love. All the hopes she had after being humiliated so badly went to drain. Prince Uiseong got manipulated to kill his own father whom he didn't know. Oh boy. But good thing the King didn't burn the historical record his best friend Lord Park gave him yet. I think it's his last chance to redeem himself for his previous greed. Looking forward to his redemption so that he can stand proud as a husband and a father to the Queen and his Children.
Poor CPrincess whom got into this just because she wanted to see CP after his lesson. Her love turned into a tool by QD to use against her. She is pregnant but the Physician lied as per instructed by QD and CP and CPrincess really thought she didn't got pregnant. It was lovely however to see how CP opened up so much to her and intiated his hug to her for the first time. I think the scenes of CP and his CPrincess was the only one bearable to watch in this latest EP.
He would want her to be well and healthy and there is no need for any child if they risk her life. It was a very sweet moment they shared truly since they have been a married couple, with nobody else involved. Not particular sure yet whether the CPrincess will lose her child for sure but even if she does not, I think what CP is planning is to let his Nephew be the King. But his Nephew still young so I am thinking maybe he will be the King first and let everything go back to its place before using the reason of not having any children (probably), then abdicate his position to his Nephew. Once he does so, then he can happily live with his wife together as a couple, freely with no royal obligations. Just him and his wife, no multiple wives like how the Queen whom love her husband have to tolerate her husband with other Women just because the King can, that kind of thing. That will be perfect ending for SN and CH imo, though if they ever become new King and Queen and stayed new King and Queen, that will be fine too, just no multiple wives please.
The first CP was the Sun, GP SN was his Moon. They cared deeply about each other as Brothers and Family, and GP SN cared about his Nephew like he was his son. I felt that the backstory of GP SN now turned CP, lacks certain affection in his childhood due to his circumstances which wasn't explained until he was accused of not being the legitimate child of the King which was then proven untrue.
The first CP brought SN to the Palace to reunite and stay with his Family, but prior to that, the first CP definitely was showered with much more love by the King and Queen for his personality and intelligence. He is also the reason why the Queen manage to get to her position after all. Despite the Queen loving all her children, it was obvious who gave her the brightest smile back when first CP was alive.
When first CP fell sick and then passes on, SN's Sun crashes and eventually he had to be the new Sun. He didn't have the desire to be a CP but he realised he needs to be one in order to protect his Mother and Brothers from their position. He also needs to climb higher so that eventually he can bring back his Sister-in-law and children back to the Palace. They didn't do anything wrong, but they had to take the blame for the first CP's death because in their circumstances, the Queen needs to remain in her position in order to find out the truth easier, and they all understood that. SN also needs to be CP to prevent those who are not fit in the position from getting to the position of CP.
As a person, I think CP SN is not a typical king material we all see in other K. historical drama, same for the Queen. The way they tried to protect their love ones and with their acting, it's what made this drama enjoyable and nice to watch which I am looking forward to every weekends. Not only is CP SN intelligent as a King for his virtue, he can fight, and he experience how commoners live to be able to understand their position, so that he truly knows what he needs to do to improve their lives as a King of his people.
The current king is only intelligent, but position was of blood. He probably knows that so he is trying to do his best in position to make up for what he actually didn't deserve. While he does care for his Family, his position was more important. He is a typical king whom have multiple wives and when someone points a blade on his neck even if he had a sword by his side, he is probably dead but CP SN knows how to fight and counter, that I feel he would have made a very different king in this drama.
The romance between the current Crown Princess CH and CP SN I wouldn't find it unnecessary, because for someone who is "quiet* and passive as his personality, someone loud and initiative like the CPrincess fits so perfectly for him. It shines a torch on him that he never knew he would receive when CP SN lost his beloved brother, and for someone who likes CP SN so much, she gave him alot more which he received than having anything in return for her. She didn't expect anything in return as well, since she thought CP SN doesn't like her as he keeps going off and leaving her hanging but he was just shy. I particularly love the scene where CPrincess said she checked his body and CP SN gave the look in shock and questioned her but later felt okay and got perfectly fine with it. I also felt that she is a new Moon/Sunset that can gives her emotional support and affection to CP SN for his loss of brother and the affections he didn't get when he was young. While the love of a Mother and a Wife is different, the Crown Princess definitely seemed like she loved CP SN more. It's better for a relationship to build with Love than to do what you needed to do as a CP after all. The CP needed to have a CPrincess eventually anyways so I thought CH fits better in this role than finding any random woman. CP SN doesn't look like he can just settle for any pretty lady anyways, unlike the King's lust with his multiple wives.
All in all, I think the drama is great due to the acting of the storyline portray by the actors and actresses here, it make you want to watch more to find out what is going to happen next, and what kind of Queen's intelligent movement she will make to find out the truth and to protect her family under her "Umbrella". I want to see a happy ending for her and CP SN with the CPrincess CH. They look great together <3
Best episode so far is Ep 10, everything turns up so well in the Queen’s favour although requires her effort to make things right from all those underhand things Consort Hwang’s family did.
I personally have no issues with Grand Prince SN’s relationship, as their chemistry improved in this episode as compared to previous. Glad Prince GS was saved. I think she is amazing despite identifying as female but she is really very capable.
The humiliation of Consort Hwang is 100///! All the consorts got called just to hear her demotion and left her hanging was honestly so good to see. XD
There will be more great people along the way siding with the Queen and Prince SN now, since she made an ally from an initial enemy whom is a Consort, and he proved himself worthy in front of the King’s best friend. I think it would be great to see, although not sure what are the things the QD and/or Consort Hwang would do to sabotage things again. Can’t wait for next ep..
While Prince Seongnam and Chungha seemingly seem to be paired together, but I cannot imagine the Queen and the trash Minister being in-law… While the Minister may change side accordingly based on what benefits him during each and every situation, but it doesn’t change the fact that he is corrupted. His daughter is cunning in a way, since she seem like a habitual liar/actress trying to get what she wants.
Idk why there is this backstory of Physician Kwon and Consort Hwang seemingly have an affair, for Physician to help her in her plot to worsen Crown Prince condition because he likes her, but I can’t help but have a thought whether if Prince Uiseong was the legitimate child of the King or the son of the Physician. It was pretty straightforward in the beginning but got me confused here. But she was quite affirmed that the Queen and Crown Prince position should have been originally hers and Prince Uiseong, then maybe this scene is purely an affair after Prince Uiseong’s birth.
Kinda disappointed with that Maid-turn-Consort whom the Queen looked after to fall for Greed and betray her for what she heard that the Queen didn’t realise.

What she wants I would say is having a Queen that she likes whom she can also take control of, such that everyone in the Palace knows she hold the highest position. She does hold the Top position by being the Dowager, but it’s not enough because the current Queen has also been doing things that opposed her and her goals. One whom is Power hungry will never stop from gaining more Power. The Dowager currently is not in control of the Queen and the Crown Prince.
While every Princes of the King are her Grandson in blood, she doesn’t care who sit on the throne as long as she is able to be the one behind to be the Master’s manipulator. Having to watch up to Ep 9, I think Eun Chan is amazing, being the only one unfalter with Changmin’s charm based on Korean’s standards. All the other 6 have at least been interested with Changmin and wanting to date him once.
Good to see there is a confirmed couple date happening here though, for Jeonghyun and Changmin. Changmin has 2 interests but ultimately knew Hyukjun’s not the one for him because of their personality being more passive and less outgoing. Jeonghyun likes Changmin since the start and has been trying to get close to him although was shy at his first call due to being roommates. The date with Hyeon shouldn’t affect their relationship too much although Jeonghyun is a more sensitive person, but everytime Changmin will explain himself whenever he feels something is not right so I think they are pretty much doing quite okay. Maybe Changmin just wanted to give others a chance to date him as he also want to know more about the person like a friend despite not interested in him.
I don’t think Hyukjun is confused. His first and only choice was Changmin since the start but he wasn’t as outgoing and initiative like Jeonghyun who manage to stole Changmin’s heart hence Hyukjun loses the possibility to be with Changmin. Plus, they spent much lesser time together as compared to the opportunities of Changmin and Jeonghyun. I don’t think Hyukjun can settle for the other 2 whom are interested in him, but he does seem wanting to consider Jeongho since he has been giving him the attention after the one to one conversation that made his heart flutter. But ultimately both were actually not whom he likes, hence that is probably why he didn’t make any decision and let the other 2 think he is just confused. He needs to be more decisive and express more thoroughly with his feelings and not giving others false hope. I think Changmin being outright honest to him during the one to one conversation is the best impression I have of Changmin that Hyukjun can learn from.
Poor Chan-gyu. He does deserve the best as he manages his emotions so well despite being hurt so many times in the show. Seonyul has so much to learn, but at least he was honest about who he likes and never give other people false hope and knows how to put a stop. I am surprised that he ultimately liked Hyukjun more than Changmin from the emotions he had when Hyukjun didn’t choose him as Roommate on the last one. He didn’t feel that way when Changmin kept dating other people but not him.
All the best to Hyeon and Jeongho. Nobody seemed to be interested in Hyeon but at least he is keeping his cool and be sassy about it every time. At least he gets to have a date with both people he liked and even if things don’t work out the way he wanted, he seemed to have no regret about it. Jeongho doesn’t reciprocate Changyu’s feeling and liked Changmin and Hyukjun as well just like Hyeon. But I guess everyone gave up on Changmin except for Hyeon when they know Changmin and Jeonghyun are a match. There are some rivalry in the show going on but most of them are keeping their cool and are able to be friends still.
All in all, Chan-gyu is the only one I think deserve the best because of his feeling and personality. Good for Changmin and Jeonghyun if they ultimately became a match but boy got his feelings hurt so many times that nobody actually give a damn other than keep emphasising that he is kind and warm. They know that he feels the most awkward and hurt among all the dramas going on but only Jeongho is trying to make him feel better. But having his thought with someone else while accompanying Chan-gyu I think is one of worst company ever. I would rather be alone than someone’s whose heart is not with me if I am in Chan-gyu’s position. Keep fighting Chan-gyu. Hope you get to meet someone more deserving of you after this show.
The reminder of the Blind date at the last episode is a huge hint. Because it’s China so the 2 ML can’t develop into BL in this drama. Neither of them are interested in finding a GF, I’m sure is because they already have each other!!! XD
In episode 17, my heart dropped when I thought Du Cheng really killed “M”.
Episode 18 revealed that he was framed, and Shen Yi will be the knight whom shall help Du Cheng uncover the truth. The bromance is still ongoing, but just that Du Cheng is in a crisis. The new officer who came in to help investigate on the case is a little bit sus IMO. The enemy really want Du Cheng to end his career and be labeled as a murderer. Can’t wait for tmr last 2 episodes to be released
I came across this drama when I saw a video about it on YouTube out of the blue on the scene where SBS guided SZY on curve.
I absolutely love it that I am lucky to binge watch it without having to wait for any episodes release in between while this drama is still new.
The story ain’t perfect like most dramas having some holes maybe due to airing time and limitations, but I felt the emotions of what the characters are going through in their lives that I felt that this is one part that made this drama successful in my opinion. It wasn’t an easy one that the ML and FML got together and it greatly taught me a lesson. Sometimes relationships may be missed due to some circumstances and once it’s passed or gone and it will never be back again, relationship ultimately still take 2 hands to clap. One party may be the first one to take initiatives, but the other party will also need to take the initiatives for it to work. Obstacles exist every time and it is very important about communication that things can work out and misunderstandings can be resolve before any opportunity missed. It was great to see how both party make the effort to spend time together despite how busy their schedule is due to their “work”. When faced an obstacle that seemingly seem hard and impossible to overcome, having one another to complement and help each other by giving their support will truly give each other the motivation to continue carry on without giving up. After all, it’s all about breaking the limits and do the best you can before you come to a conclusion of being stagnant and thus giving up that you generally will end up with regrets. When you want to go fast you go alone, but to be able to go far, we go together is also another intake I learn here even though this is a common one that most of us would have already know irl. The change of the ML to learn how to love someone and made his effort even to the FML family was very sweet and pleasant to see. I will rewatch this.

Not particular sure yet whether the CPrincess will lose her child for sure but even if she does not, I think what CP is planning is to let his Nephew be the King. But his Nephew still young so I am thinking maybe he will be the King first and let everything go back to its place before using the reason of not having any children (probably), then abdicate his position to his Nephew. Once he does so, then he can happily live with his wife together as a couple, freely with no royal obligations. Just him and his wife, no multiple wives like how the Queen whom love her husband have to tolerate her husband with other Women just because the King can, that kind of thing. That will be perfect ending for SN and CH imo, though if they ever become new King and Queen and stayed new King and Queen, that will be fine too, just no multiple wives please.

The first CP brought SN to the Palace to reunite and stay with his Family, but prior to that, the first CP definitely was showered with much more love by the King and Queen for his personality and intelligence. He is also the reason why the Queen manage to get to her position after all. Despite the Queen loving all her children, it was obvious who gave her the brightest smile back when first CP was alive.
When first CP fell sick and then passes on, SN's Sun crashes and eventually he had to be the new Sun. He didn't have the desire to be a CP but he realised he needs to be one in order to protect his Mother and Brothers from their position. He also needs to climb higher so that eventually he can bring back his Sister-in-law and children back to the Palace. They didn't do anything wrong, but they had to take the blame for the first CP's death because in their circumstances, the Queen needs to remain in her position in order to find out the truth easier, and they all understood that. SN also needs to be CP to prevent those who are not fit in the position from getting to the position of CP.
As a person, I think CP SN is not a typical king material we all see in other K. historical drama, same for the Queen. The way they tried to protect their love ones and with their acting, it's what made this drama enjoyable and nice to watch which I am looking forward to every weekends. Not only is CP SN intelligent as a King for his virtue, he can fight, and he experience how commoners live to be able to understand their position, so that he truly knows what he needs to do to improve their lives as a King of his people.
The current king is only intelligent, but position was of blood. He probably knows that so he is trying to do his best in position to make up for what he actually didn't deserve. While he does care for his Family, his position was more important. He is a typical king whom have multiple wives and when someone points a blade on his neck even if he had a sword by his side, he is probably dead but CP SN knows how to fight and counter, that I feel he would have made a very different king in this drama.
The romance between the current Crown Princess CH and CP SN I wouldn't find it unnecessary, because for someone who is "quiet* and passive as his personality, someone loud and initiative like the CPrincess fits so perfectly for him. It shines a torch on him that he never knew he would receive when CP SN lost his beloved brother, and for someone who likes CP SN so much, she gave him alot more which he received than having anything in return for her. She didn't expect anything in return as well, since she thought CP SN doesn't like her as he keeps going off and leaving her hanging but he was just shy. I particularly love the scene where CPrincess said she checked his body and CP SN gave the look in shock and questioned her but later felt okay and got perfectly fine with it. I also felt that she is a new Moon/Sunset that can gives her emotional support and affection to CP SN for his loss of brother and the affections he didn't get when he was young. While the love of a Mother and a Wife is different, the Crown Princess definitely seemed like she loved CP SN more. It's better for a relationship to build with Love than to do what you needed to do as a CP after all. The CP needed to have a CPrincess eventually anyways so I thought CH fits better in this role than finding any random woman. CP SN doesn't look like he can just settle for any pretty lady anyways, unlike the King's lust with his multiple wives.
All in all, I think the drama is great due to the acting of the storyline portray by the actors and actresses here, it make you want to watch more to find out what is going to happen next, and what kind of Queen's intelligent movement she will make to find out the truth and to protect her family under her "Umbrella". I want to see a happy ending for her and CP SN with the CPrincess CH. They look great together <3
I personally have no issues with Grand Prince SN’s relationship, as their chemistry improved in this episode as compared to previous. Glad Prince GS was saved. I think she is amazing despite identifying as female but she is really very capable.
The humiliation of Consort Hwang is 100///! All the consorts got called just to hear her demotion and left her hanging was honestly so good to see. XD
There will be more great people along the way siding with the Queen and Prince SN now, since she made an ally from an initial enemy whom is a Consort, and he proved himself worthy in front of the King’s best friend. I think it would be great to see, although not sure what are the things the QD and/or Consort Hwang would do to sabotage things again. Can’t wait for next ep..
Idk why there is this backstory of Physician Kwon and Consort Hwang seemingly have an affair, for Physician to help her in her plot to worsen Crown Prince condition because he likes her, but I can’t help but have a thought whether if Prince Uiseong was the legitimate child of the King or the son of the Physician. It was pretty straightforward in the beginning but got me confused here. But she was quite affirmed that the Queen and Crown Prince position should have been originally hers and Prince Uiseong, then maybe this scene is purely an affair after Prince Uiseong’s birth.
Kinda disappointed with that Maid-turn-Consort whom the Queen looked after to fall for Greed and betray her for what she heard that the Queen didn’t realise.
But one thing will be quite clear. Although Prince Seongnam doesn’t fit to be a King because of his Personality, but he has the Qualities. He just needs to work on Anger Management.
The other 2 candidates whom wanted the Position for themselves shall never get it. One is a Cheater and likes to look down on others and the other is just a Bookworm whom both got Greedy about the Crown Position
While every Princes of the King are her Grandson in blood, she doesn’t care who sit on the throne as long as she is able to be the one behind to be the Master’s manipulator. But of course, the Crown Prince candidate still has to be someone whom is worthy and easy to manipulate still, not just any tom dick or harry whom have Low IQ for the court and tests.
The Queen is so poor thing, easily trust people whom seemingly are on her side. That Physician and that Maid-turned-Consort betrayed her and she haven’t yet knew…
Good to see there is a confirmed couple date happening here though, for Jeonghyun and Changmin. Changmin has 2 interests but ultimately knew Hyukjun’s not the one for him because of their personality being more passive and less outgoing. Jeonghyun likes Changmin since the start and has been trying to get close to him although was shy at his first call due to being roommates. The date with Hyeon shouldn’t affect their relationship too much although Jeonghyun is a more sensitive person, but everytime Changmin will explain himself whenever he feels something is not right so I think they are pretty much doing quite okay. Maybe Changmin just wanted to give others a chance to date him as he also want to know more about the person like a friend despite not interested in him.
I don’t think Hyukjun is confused. His first and only choice was Changmin since the start but he wasn’t as outgoing and initiative like Jeonghyun who manage to stole Changmin’s heart hence Hyukjun loses the possibility to be with Changmin. Plus, they spent much lesser time together as compared to the opportunities of Changmin and Jeonghyun. I don’t think Hyukjun can settle for the other 2 whom are interested in him, but he does seem wanting to consider Jeongho since he has been giving him the attention after the one to one conversation that made his heart flutter. But ultimately both were actually not whom he likes, hence that is probably why he didn’t make any decision and let the other 2 think he is just confused. He needs to be more decisive and express more thoroughly with his feelings and not giving others false hope. I think Changmin being outright honest to him during the one to one conversation is the best impression I have of Changmin that Hyukjun can learn from.
Poor Chan-gyu. He does deserve the best as he manages his emotions so well despite being hurt so many times in the show. Seonyul has so much to learn, but at least he was honest about who he likes and never give other people false hope and knows how to put a stop. I am surprised that he ultimately liked Hyukjun more than Changmin from the emotions he had when Hyukjun didn’t choose him as Roommate on the last one. He didn’t feel that way when Changmin kept dating other people but not him.
All the best to Hyeon and Jeongho. Nobody seemed to be interested in Hyeon but at least he is keeping his cool and be sassy about it every time. At least he gets to have a date with both people he liked and even if things don’t work out the way he wanted, he seemed to have no regret about it. Jeongho doesn’t reciprocate Changyu’s feeling and liked Changmin and Hyukjun as well just like Hyeon. But I guess everyone gave up on Changmin except for Hyeon when they know Changmin and Jeonghyun are a match. There are some rivalry in the show going on but most of them are keeping their cool and are able to be friends still.
All in all, Chan-gyu is the only one I think deserve the best because of his feeling and personality. Good for Changmin and Jeonghyun if they ultimately became a match but boy got his feelings hurt so many times that nobody actually give a damn other than keep emphasising that he is kind and warm. They know that he feels the most awkward and hurt among all the dramas going on but only Jeongho is trying to make him feel better. But having his thought with someone else while accompanying Chan-gyu I think is one of worst company ever. I would rather be alone than someone’s whose heart is not with me if I am in Chan-gyu’s position. Keep fighting Chan-gyu. Hope you get to meet someone more deserving of you after this show.
Episode 18 revealed that he was framed, and Shen Yi will be the knight whom shall help Du Cheng uncover the truth. The bromance is still ongoing, but just that Du Cheng is in a crisis. The new officer who came in to help investigate on the case is a little bit sus IMO. The enemy really want Du Cheng to end his career and be labeled as a murderer. Can’t wait for tmr last 2 episodes to be released
I absolutely love it that I am lucky to binge watch it without having to wait for any episodes release in between while this drama is still new.
The story ain’t perfect like most dramas having some holes maybe due to airing time and limitations, but I felt the emotions of what the characters are going through in their lives that I felt that this is one part that made this drama successful in my opinion. It wasn’t an easy one that the ML and FML got together and it greatly taught me a lesson. Sometimes relationships may be missed due to some circumstances and once it’s passed or gone and it will never be back again, relationship ultimately still take 2 hands to clap. One party may be the first one to take initiatives, but the other party will also need to take the initiatives for it to work. Obstacles exist every time and it is very important about communication that things can work out and misunderstandings can be resolve before any opportunity missed. It was great to see how both party make the effort to spend time together despite how busy their schedule is due to their “work”. When faced an obstacle that seemingly seem hard and impossible to overcome, having one another to complement and help each other by giving their support will truly give each other the motivation to continue carry on without giving up. After all, it’s all about breaking the limits and do the best you can before you come to a conclusion of being stagnant and thus giving up that you generally will end up with regrets. When you want to go fast you go alone, but to be able to go far, we go together is also another intake I learn here even though this is a common one that most of us would have already know irl. The change of the ML to learn how to love someone and made his effort even to the FML family was very sweet and pleasant to see. I will rewatch this.
