Running Man is still good but I do miss the days when they were actually running and parts of it where they showcased a lot of different places in Korea (and their international adventures as well). I know its hard now cause they're already older but those were really fun episodes.
This type of sub-genre (gender bender period/historical dramas) was so prevalent 6-8 years ago. Haven't really noticed anything in recent years except for Nokdu so this is something I'd definitely watch.
Such a beautiful and heart-wrenching drama. It takes awhile for the plot to move so please stick with it. I think I got hooked after episode 6 and finished it within a day and a half.
Question for anyone with knowledge - On episode 2 when they were discussing their families, Ling Xiao's father said that Chen Ting lost her job and he also lost his promotion and his job was at risk and he got fined just because they found out 3 months into the pregnancy. Why is this? Does this have something to do with the one-child policy in China?
Ep19-23 are the best reconciliation and getting together sequence that I've seen in a very long time. The internal struggle and coming to terms are very real and relatable. When YuTu said that he blamed Jingjing for asking him out first cause if not he would have caved in to himself was so heartbreaking for me. No over the top gestures and annoying misunderstandings, just two people in love laying their hearts bare.
